JOB DESCRIPTION: 

The Technical Executive’s role is responsible and accountable for the following areas:
  •  Establish detailed construction drawing sets for project proposals to confirm to client on their needs; 
  • Co-ordinate customer site visits with the sales team to provide technical support for their presentations and proposals for clients they identify; 
  • Correspond with local and federal government authorities for necessary approvals and permits required to undertake the project; 
  • Draft post-construction project commissioning procedures and render aid in project commissioning. 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • He will be responsible for the construction and installation of active systems, which require solar collectors, concentrators, pumps and fans; 
  • Responsible for designs and recommendations on power specifications; 
  • Installation of passive systems, with the best use of windows and insulation to absorb and reflect solar radiation for heating and cooling purposes;
  • Design of heat transfer systems from sun to a central boiler or steam turbine, to generate electricity; 
  • Experience in usage of all technical equipments for each project and determining what volume per scale of project;
  • Building solar energy systems that use mirrors to absorb and convert the sun’s radiation into heat energy; 
  • Design apparatus for fluid circulation among mirrors collecting the heat from the sun;  
  • Co-ordinate and ensure safety of all technical staff involved in every project;
  • Provide support to sales team in managing specific client needs and requests. 
REQUIREMENTS:  
  • Must have a Degree in Electronic Engineering with civil engineering as an elective subject with at least 5-10 years experience solar power site evaluation; 
  • Must have knowledge of developing solar power schematics, knowledge of layout and design tools used in solar power projects design;
  • Fluent in spoken English and adept at written skills in English. Knowledge of local languages will be an added advantage;
  • Ideally, exposure of working within a multi-cultural environment;
  • Must be able to work under pressure within stipulated time lines;
  • In order to be successful in this role, the candidate must have strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills;
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and at the same time be able to work as a team-player;
  • Must possess the ability to draft, read plans and provide solar power design;
  • Must have sound knowledge in large scale solar power electronics and electrical power systems design;
  • Must have ability to implement electrical, mechanical, structural and civil engineering;
  • Must have absolute ability to read, understand and edit electrical and structural plans;
  • Must be proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office;
  • Must be able to multi-task with concentration and be able to pay close attention to detail;  
  • Acts with honour and character – A person of high integrity who is direct and truthful but at the same time can keep confidences.

 Office Management:
  • Ensure the safety of office equipment and supplies in the absence of other field staff;

Working Environment:

The Graduate Trainee Programme is designed to develop tomorrow's leaders today and equip them with the right professional and soft skills required to survive in the dynamic business world.

 Subsequent to a highly competitive selection process, short-listed candidates will undergo a structured comprehensive training program me involving both formal and on the job learning. At the end, successful candidates will be considered for permanent positions within the company.


QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prospective candidates will be professional, passionate, ambitious and able to demonstrate a high level of integrity. They will be team players, who exhibit a high level of respect and must possess the following;
     
  • Bachelor or Masters Degree with minimum of Second Class Upper Division (2. 1) in any discipline;
     
  • NYSC Discharge Certificate;
     
  •  Minimum of 5 B’s AND 2 ‘C’s in WASC, SSCE OR GCE ‘O’ Level in one sitting, which must include Mathematics and English;
     
  • Age: Not older than 25 years by the 31st of December, 2010;
     
  • The program me is open only to graduates who obtained their Bachelor degree in the last four years.

We specialise in the sales, after sales maintenance, servicing and overhauling of gen sets ranging from 3VA to 10,000 KVA in both open sets and acoustically enclosed sets with an extensive range of optional equipment available to enhance the standard product.

We also supply generators for special applications to satisfy the needs of complex projects including HV generation, and stringent noise levels. We provide solutions from initial site survey to commissioning including project and site management.

REQUIREMENTS:
 
B.SC/HND with 10yrs practical experience in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering practice. Must be COREN Registered and computer literate

ACCOUNTANT/ACCOUNTING OFFICER:

REQUIREMENTS:
 
ACCA/HND with 5yrs commercial experience in Management Accounting and Banking operations
Must be computer literate

DIESEL MECHANIC:

REQUIREMENTS: 
Trade Test Grade 1 with 10yrs experience on Heavy Duty Diesel Engine. Driver’s license an added advantage

CONFIDENTIAL SECRETARY:

REQUIREMENTS: 
B.SC/HND or PITMAN/RSA with 5 years experience
Must be computer literate

R & A TECHNICIANS:

REQUIREMENTS: 
CITY & GUILD Trade Test Grade 1 with 5yrs working experience on package unit system

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN:

REQUIREMENTS: 
CITY & GUILD Trade Test Grade 1, with 5 yrs working experience

HIAB/MOTOR DRIVERS:

REQUIREMENTS: 
Full drivers license class A and WASC with 5yrs experience

MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN TRAINING:

REQUIREMENTS: 
With Govt. Tech School Certificate and 2-3 years experience. Required at all regions

PLUMBER:

REQUIREMENTS: 
CITY & GUILD Trade Test Grade II, with 5 yrs working experience
