POST TITLE: MS Transition & Solution Expert (SME)
DEPARTMENT: Managed Services Department
LOCATION: West Africa Region (Mention as per the location requirement)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. As Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide support for MS deliver/ projects in Establishment Transition and/or Transformation. Ensure the delivery strategy and delivery strategy and directive alignment, and to build a strong and sustainable MS operators. Servicer
2. Manage and/or coordinate a matrix team for MS transition deliverablesproducts; including change communications, Service Operations. Services Operation processes design. Service KPI and SLAs, project governance model, OSS system and tools development and implementation, HR team with Terms & Conditions of Service, and Contract Management, and Training team
3. Provide support in Processes Improvement Design and Implementation including training operators and help desk teams as need
4. Provide support for regional MS bidding projects. Participate in senior customers’ meetings and presentation, Due Diligence exercise, contract negotiation and risks review
5. Consolidate support the preparation of training material and case studies to share with the MS organization and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions
REQUIREMENTS:
1. 6-8 years of telecom industry experience including experience for Managed Services Project Transition & Delivery in telecom,
2. Telecom Operator Experience will be added advantage,
3. Transition Project Experience including Transfer Management (People & Asset Transfer). OSS/IT Tools Readiness, Process Design is a must for project delivery with at least 2-3 Telecom BSS/ IT Projects successfully delivered,
4. Excellent project management experience with good track record. Candidates possess full working of PMP or equivalent eTOM, ITIL or TL 9000,
5. Bachelor’s Degree,
6. Energetic and logical thinking, be able to travel occasionally with and work overseas,
7. Mature and positive attitudes; possess good interpersonal communication skills, able to work well in a fast-paced, multi-culture dynamic environment,
8. Excellent written oral and listening skills in English.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
1. Experience in a Telecom Engineering Company, Telecoms Vendor or ICT is preferred and is of top-priority,
2. Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Computer Science or telecommunications Engineering or relevant Degree as applicable,
3. Good Customer service orientation, communication skills, good team spirit and has ability to work independently,
4. Should be ready to work under pressure in all kind of working condition,
5. Proficient in Microsoft office, (word, excel and PowerPoint),
6. Applicants should be open to learning new skills and technology,
7.Self-motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and fluent in English both oral and written,
8. Must be ready for international project to the other African countries,
9.Successful applicants should be Goal-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills, and be a very good team player,
10. The successful applicant should be good at information gathering and analysis.

- Operator VAS (Service Delivery Platform, SMSIMMS), BSS (Business Support System, Telecom Billing, CRM, Business Intelligence, Mediation, Revenue Assurance), eTOM (enhance telecommunication operation map), Telecom Operator’s Call Center.
