Lafarge Cement WAPCO Nigeria Job: Recruitment for Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouseman
As part of our expansion and development programmes, our company, a multinational and leading player in the building materials industry is looking for experienced, intelligent and highly motivated individuals to fill the positions below:
POST TITLE: Warehouse Supervisor
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Adhere strictly the Safety Policies, Rules, and Regulations of the company.
2. Stack supplies/receipts from Goods Receiving section into appropriate stocks locations
3. Identification, labeling and tagging of received goods (Local & Offshore).
4. To prepare daily stocks reports for Fuels and Lubricants Paper bags etc. for
5. Management Information System.
6. To offload bricks, grinding media, AGO and LPFO deliveries and proper storage.
7. Issue stock items to users on receipt of a duly authorized order on Stores tickets.
8. Report on stocks movements for stocks provisioning.
9. Ascertain on hand balances of stocks for ordering purposes.
10. Recheck discrepancies declared during Cycle Count (Variance Sheets)
11. Inventory Management (reconciliation of physical balance with computer balance of items and making necessary correction)
12. Posting of goods received into the JDE systems and Preparation of dailv goods receipt report.
PERSON'S PROFILE:
1. OND in any Social Science discipline with minimum of 2 years experience.
2. Analytical thinking.
3. Energetic and flare to work unexpected long hours.
4. Ability to Multi-task.
5. Good Team Player.
POST TITLE: Warehouseman
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Respect the Safety Policies, Rules, and Regulations of the company.
2. Receive stock returns from users into the Physical Store location.
3. Co-ordinate the preparation of daily fuel stock and Paper Bag stock figures, as regards opening balances, issues, receipts, closing stocks and requirements.
4. Cross-check issues of items to users departments as regards correct catalogue- number, right quantities, description and authorized signatories.
5. Ensure availability of stores handling equipment and other utilities for smooth stores operations.
6. Supervise receipt and stacking of items relating to carding, unit of measure and location.
7. To segregate damage and obsolete stock items in the Stores.
PERSON'S PROFILE:
1. OND in any Social Science discipline with 5 years experience or B.Sc. or HND Social Sciences or related discipline with maximum of 2 years working experience,
2. Analytical Thinking,
3. Energetic and flare to work unexpected long hours,
4. Ability to Multi-task.
5. Good estimation of activity duration and execution.
