THE COMPANY:

Our company is an outstanding player in the industry in Nigeria. Our major areas of operations include Conductor Pipe Driving, Casing & Tubing Handling Services and Equipment Rental.  We are looking for a highly committed, result oriented and multi disciplinary professional to make valuable contributions to our aggressive growth strategy.

This individual must maintain and exceed the high level of customer service to be called the:

POST TITLE:     (DTE),

KEY ACTIVITIES:

1. To assist in the accurate diagnosis and solution of customer problems,
 
2. Ascertain drilling technology tool applications, run simulations, and make recommendations to the client for tool requirements,
 
3. Improve/maintain profitability for the drilling technology tools across the board,
 
4. Drive ideas for new tool designs to fit the customer needs; introduce new technology to the field,
 
5. Close out meetings with the client post job to attain job satisfaction report and ascertain future applications for the drill tech tools,
 
6. Ensure that all tool documentation for tools being sent to the job is in place,
 
7. Hold pre-job briefings with TFE and ensure that all necessary documentation to perform your duties at the well site is in place,
 
8. Run any failure analysis along with the assistance of the ‘technical field engineer’, and report findings to the clients in order to close out any NCR’s,
 
9. Maintain tool database at local level and report back to global structure.

THE CANDIDATE:

The ideal candidate must possess:-

1. A minimum of 7 years working experience in the upstream sector of the sectors, preferably with more than one country of prior work experience in a similar position.
 
2. Applicants will be expected to have a general working knowledge of the sector, with a minimum of 3 years working in on and offshore localities associated with exploration and drilling
 
3. He will be able to demonstrate a special interest in new technologies, particularly associated to M/LWD and directional drilling activities.
 
4. Must have good interpersonal skills, working closely with clients on a regular basis
 
5. A degree in Engineering with relevant professional qualifications (Possession of a in relevant field will be an advantage)
 
6. Certificates of M/LWD and/or DD company courses completed
