As a result of the on-going restructuring and expansion, a leading membership-based organization, with head office in Lagos and branches in Abuja and Kaduna, requires the services of suitably qualified and experienced personnel for the position below

POST TITLE:   Director-General/CEO

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop and Implement an approved work-plan for the Institute to achieve its goals and objectives,

2. Provide strategic direction and focus for the Institute,

3. Co-ordinate the entire activities of the Institute and amongst its other affiliates across the globe (mainly in Commonwealth Countries),

4. Serve as Member/Secretary to the Governing Council,

5. Provide information and advice to facilitate personal and professional development of members,

6. Foster closer cooperation and networking between members sharing knowledge and good practices as well as overseeing the activities at the Secretariat,

7. Perform other assignments as would be designated by the President/Chairman of the Council of the Institute from time to time.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

1. Strong inter-personal and public relations skills,

2. Effective communication and negotiation skills,

3. Problem solving and decision making skills,

4. Develop strategic institutional alliances for collaboration/sponsorship in Institute’s activities,

5. Ability to motivate people (carry both members and Secretariat staff,

6. Working knowledge of computer software packages: Microsoft word. Power point and excel,

7. Ability to associate and socialize with high net worth individual.

REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES:

1. Mature and between the ages of 45 and 58,

2. Very sociable and a good team player, dynamic and high creative ability,

3. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels,

4. Meticulous with keen attention to details and proven record of performance in a cognate organization.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. A minimum of a first degree or its equivalent in Business Management, Public Administration, Social Sciences and the Humanities with ability to manage both human material resources.

2. The Ideal candidate should possess turnaround skills

SALARY/REMUNERATION:

 

Six Million Naira per Annum with official car plus Driver.
