We seek a proactive, focused, intelligent, resourceful and professional candidate to fill the below vacancy immediately:

POST TITLE:   ICT Services Coordinator

LOCATION:   Port Harcourt

THE JOB:

The right candidate shall co-ordinate our client’s core ICT Business Support activities to ensure fit for purpose ICT Services Delivery by in-house and third party providers.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Effectively supervise the operations and resources of the ICT Support Group following industry best practices.
 

2. Develop working relationships with various departments to ensure that ICT resources are efficiently and effectively untilised to ensure business continuity.
 

3. Ensure that the established ICT governance and compliance policies and procedures are effectively and professionally practiced.
 

4. Ensure that services being provided by third party service providers are not only within the terms of their respective SLA but meets and preferably exceeds expectations.
 

5. Prepare progress and other reports to management in a timely and professional manner

SERVICES TO BE COVERED:

Some of the Services to be covered are:

1. WAN, VSAT, LAN, Radio Networks and links; inter and intra Location Telephone Network
 

2. Service Subscriptions Telephone, Blackberry, Internet, DSTV etc
 

3. Server/System Administration, Data Backup and recovery systems
 

4. Email services, Website and other hosted systems
 

5. SAP B1 and other Application Support Services
 

6. End User Helpdesk Support/incident management services

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. A good first degree in Electronic or Computer Engineering or any other relevant field
 

2. An appropriate post graduate qualification shall be an added advantage
 

3. ITILV3 Certification or similar

EXPERIENCE  & SKILLS

1. Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of cognate experience in ICT Support Services delivery,
 

2. Possess high levels of analytical and trouble shooting skills,
 

3. Possess good knowledge of Server administration and networking,
 

4. Be proactive ability to work without supervision, be a good team player and also a fast learner,
 

5. Possess excellent abilities to lead, manage and develop sub-ordinates,
 

6. Possess a focused and professional attitude to work.

REMUNERATIONS, TERMS & CONDITIONS: Negotiated but quite attractive
