Our Client, a leading global provider of products and services to the Oil, Gas & power industries that offers solutions for production, processing, compression and aftermarket parts and services out of Lagos, Port Harcourt and Warri, is looking for outstanding, purpose-driven professionals to occupy the positions below:
POST TITLE: Mechanical Maintenance Specialists
LOCATION: Port Harcourt / Warri
FUNCTIONS:
1. The mechanical maintenance specialists shall be fully proficient mechanics that provide mechanical work on gas compression equipment components and instruments (e.g. pumps, controllers, valves etc.),
2. The candidates shall possess comprehensive mechanical, diagnostic and analytical skills to provide excellent customer service,
3. The candidates shall ensure the operational stability, improvement of plant conditions and accomplishment of production targets through the execution of mechanical maintenance activities (predictive, preventive and corrective).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities shall include:
1. Providing preventative and corrective field mechanical service on gas compression and process equipment on site at client locations,
2. Directing, coordinating and assisting with scheduled and unscheduled equipment repairs and maintenance,
3. Demonstrating proficiency in accurately and efficiently diagnosing and repairing mechanical problems on multiple compressor systems,
4. Possessing a strong knowledge of new compressor technologies and comprehensive mechanical, diagnostic and analytical skills,
5. Call-out rotation responsibilities and responding to emergency maintenance calls,
6. Responsibility for submitting accurate maintenance reports and other necessary paperwork.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS/COMPETENCES:
1. Minimum of Secondary Education and 7 years high quality experience with stable employment or mechanical engineering degree and 4 years minimum experience with stable employment,
2. Knowledge and experience with CAT and Waukesha gas engines and slow speed equipment,
3. Significant experience in diesel and natural gas engines and compressor overhauls and troubleshooting,
4. Intermediate knowledge of PC tools (MS Office),
5. Good interpersonal and communication skills,
6. Good team player,
7. Willingness to learn and improve knowledge on Mechanical Maintenance issues,
8. Must be able to swim.
POST TITLE: Instrumentation & Electrical Technicians
LOCATION: Port Harcourt / Warri
FUNCTIONS:
The I & E Technicians shall be responsible for the installation and maintenance of any electrical or pneumatic controller or device.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities shall include:
1. Installation and repair of electrical, electronic and pneumatic components on compressor units, generators units, pump units, ignition systems and air fuel ratio systems,
2. Troubleshooting of electrical control panels, generator control panels, generators and switch gears,
3. Inspecting existing panels to ensure proper function and application,
4. Must be willing to work offshore and on field locations.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS/COMPETENCES:
1. Candidate must have minimum of Secondary Education and 7 years high quality experience with stable employment OR electrical engineering degree and 4 years minimum experience with stable employment,
2. Experience with Altronics, Murphy and Alien-Bradley control panels and systems would be a plus,
3. Intermediate knowledge of PC tools (MS Office),
4. Good interpersonal and communication skills,
5. Good team player,
6. Willingness to learn and improve knowledge on Mechanical Maintenance issues Must be able to swim.
