A Plastic Production Company Job: Vacancy for Assistant General Manager
We are a fast growing plastics production business. We produce plastic drums, jerry cans, bottles and other custom containers for the petroleum products, food and pharmaceutical industries.
POST TITLE: Assistant General Manager-Operations-Plastics Production (Nigerian or Expatriate)
The AGM operation is an Executive Management position responsible jointly with the General Manager for the planning, direction and control of the business. This involves:
1. A clear understanding and buy in into the corporate goals,
2. Leadership of Good Manufacturing Practice,
3. Human and material resources management,
4. Oversight of budget implementation,
5. Monitoring of all reporting processes from factory floor to executive management,
6. Direction of the marketing and business development function,
A suitable person for the position would have the following educational attainments and work experience.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
1. Candidates must have B.Sc/HND Chemical or Polymer Engineering, or Industrial Chemistry,
2. Membership of related professional Polymer Science/Engineering,
3. 10 or more year experience in plastic plant operations and participation in development/top management of the business,
4.Deep knowledge of the plastics industry in Nigeria.
