THE CLIENT:

Our client, Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), established as a resolution vehicle/stabilizing and revitalizing tool in the Nigerian economy is seeking to recruit qualified professionals as team heads and team members to fill the positions below:

POST TITLE:   IT Operations and Infrastructure User Support

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Manage IT Helpdesk to ensure efficient service and problem management,
 
2. Conduct service quality survey, issues notification and feedback,
 
3. Ensure all incidents are resolved,
 
4. Manage disruptions and incidents.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

• First degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronics, Mathematics and/or other Science or Engineering based subjects.
• 3-7 years cognate experience.

POST TITLE:   IT Operations and Infrastructure /Data Centre Operations

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Ensure day-to-day operation of all data center and hosting resources  Servers, Storage, Switches. Racks. Power and safety equipment),
 

2. Manage day-to-day relationships with data center vendors in line with SLAs,
 

3. Operationalise established policies and procedures for data center and hosting services,
 

4. Ensure start and End of day activities are performed according to established standards,
 

5. Control and monitor access to the data center(s),
 

6. Ensure all outsourced services are delivered to accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW),
 

7. Perform batch/job processing,
 

8. Implement disaster recovery procedures when necessary,
 

9. Ensure backups are taken and delivered off site,
 

10. Administer databases and operating systems.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Appropriate second degree and/or technical certifications will be an added advantage,
• Must have a minimum of 4-6 years cognate experience.
