THE ORGANIZATION:

University of Benin Teaching Hospital P.M.B. 1111, Benin City, invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for appointment into the below position in U.B.T.H. The Hospital is commencing a new initiative that is driven by the concept of objective and structured training.

POST TITLE:   Registrar II – (Resident Doctors MSS II) (as Obtainable in the Public Service)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Candidates for the post must be fully registered with the Nigerian Medical and Dental Council.
  • In addition, they are expected to produce evidence of completion of’ the NYSC, or exemption from the service.
  • All prospective candidates for Residency Training Programmes must possess at least a pass in the primary fellowship examination or the relevant professional examination.

Anaesthesiology, Medicine, Obst. and Gynaecology, Gen. Surgery, Radiology, Oral and Maxillofacial, Surgery, Preventive dentistry, Periodontics, Restorative dentistry, Oral pathology, Mental health, Ophthalmology, Child health, Morbid anatomy, Chemical pathology, Medical Microbiology, Haematology, Neurosurgery, ENT, Cardiothoraxic, Surgery, Urology, Orthopaedics and Trauma, Plastic surgery, Paediatric surgery

HOW TO PROCEED:
On the left hand side of the web page, click on job/careers.
Find jobs then select Senior Staff Category, proceed to sub category, click on show available positions. Select House Officer or Resident, apply for the job position. Enter pin code obtainable from any UBA Plc Branch Nationwide for Five Hundred Naira (N500,00) then open job application form, complete the form and upload relevant documents. On successful application, print two copies of the application form. Send a copy to the Deputy Director, personnel matters and retain a copy for the interview.

SCREENING EXAMINATION:

Part of the interview entails a written screening Examination meant to determine candidate’s academic and attitudinal disposition to residency training. This is
slated for Wednesday 17th August, 2011. Oral interview would be on Friday 19th August, 2011
