Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana, intends to recruit qualified candidates to fill some existing vacancies. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions below:
(SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY)
POST TITLE: Lecturer III
DEPARTMENT: (Department of Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology)
OPTION: Power
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- A doctorate degree in the relevant field(s) from recognized Higher Institution with at least 3 years relevant experience; OR
- A master’s degree in relevant field(s) from, a recognized Higher Institution with at least 5 years experience in Teaching/Research in an Institution of higher learning; OR
- A good honours degree from a recognized institution of higher learning and professional qualification in relevant field(s) with at least 7 years Teaching/Research/Industrial experience.
- Candidates are required to have published journal articles, books and must have presented seminar papers as required for each rank.
POST TITLE: Assistant Lecturer
DEPARTMENT: Department of Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology)
OPTION: Power
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- A good honours degree from a recognized Institution of higher learning plus NYSC discharge Certificate.
POST TITLE: Technologists II
DEPARTMENT: (Department of Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Candidates must possess Higher National Diploma or its equivalent plus NYSC discharge Certificate.
POST TITLE: Lecturer III
DEPARTMENT: (Department of Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology)
OPTION: Telecommunication
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- A doctorate degree in the relevant field(s) from recognized Higher Institution with at least 3 years relevant experience; OR
- A master’s degree in relevant field(s) from, a recognized Higher Institution with at least 5 years experience in Teaching/Research in an Institution of higher learning; OR
- A good honours degree from a recognized institution of higher learning and professional qualification in relevant field(s) with at least 7 years Teaching/Research/Industrial experience.

- A master’s degree in relevant field(s) from, a recognized Higher Institution with at least 5 years experience in Teaching/Research in an Institution of higher learning; OR
- A good honours degree from a recognized institution of higher learning and professional qualification in relevant field(s) with at least 7 years Teaching/Research/Industrial experience
- Candidates are required to have published journal articles, books and must have presented seminar papers as required for each rank.
REMUNERATION/SALARY: The salary will be as applicable to all Federal Polytechnics in Nigeria.
