POST TITLE:   State Team Leader

LOCATION: Bauchi

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position will assume direct management responsibility for all project activities in that State. This includes supervising State teams managing overall partner relationships, responsibility for all documentation and reporting and managing all financial activities at the State level.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Manage performance on an on-going basis including guidance, motivation, resolution of problems, training needs identification, regular review meetings etc.,
  • Direct management coordination of all project activities in line with the project proposal and implementation plan,
  • Ensure that all project reporting and M and E systems are effectively implemented
  • Work closely with finance officer to implement, monitor expenditure of budget appropriately ensuring timely disbursement, activities, reporting, and documentation, monitoring varieties and troubleshooting as needed.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • First degree in Sciences /Behavioural Social Sciences or its equivalent with at least 5 years experience, which must include at least 3 years experience in implementing community-level development project using participatory engagement and grassroots mobilization techniques,
  • Good experience in implementation or management of development projects and/or field offices with proven,
  • Ability to multi-task, engage in long-term planning meet deadlines, and handle last-minute demands,
  • Candidates must be good using MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc; and have excellent communication and listening skills Familiarity with local tradition and language is essential.

POST TITLE:   Project Officer

LOCATION: Bauchi

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position will be responsible for implementing all project activities in the target communities in the State, both directly and indirectly though training/mentoring of CSO facilitators.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Maintain documentation and M and E systems at the community/State level,
  • Ensure all documentation, reports, and records are maintained per agreed procedure,
  • Work with the finance/Admin, CSO partners, and CPCs ensure that all financial activities conducted in each community are properly document.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • First degree in Sciences /Behavioural Social Sciences or its equivalent with at least 3 years experience, which must include at least 2 years substantial experience in implementing community-level development project using participatory engagement and grassroots mobilization techniques,
  • Excellent training facilitation skills with a wide variety of group having diverse experiences backgrounds, skills, and education levels. Candidates must have excellent verbal communication listening skills and must be good using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc Familiarity with local tradition and language is essential.
