THE COMPANY:
A Property Development Company based in Abuja is looking for suitable qualified candidates for immediate employment
POST TITLE: Estate Officer
THE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for supervising general maintenance issues at designated sites,
- Responsible for the upkeep of all properties to a high standard whist carrying out basic building and maintenance work where required,
- Responsible for supervising security guards at the premises,
- Responsible for stocking up consumable items such as fuel, diesel, light bulbs and arrange to replenish supplies in accordance with current procedures of the company,
- To report emergencies as well as minor faults with electrical and water supply to the site supervisor,
- To attend to where necessary, personnel visiting the site such as contractors buyers,
- To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Qualification and Experience
- A Higher National Diploma or Ordinary National Diploma from a reputable Institution; Previous experience in Estate Management will be an advantage.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Oral, written and communication skills,
- Basic knowledge of repair and maintenance skills,
- Must be computer literate,
- Must be competent in the use of Microsoft office applications.
PERSONAL QUALITIES:
- Proven record of a high level of attendance at work,
- Ability to work effectively without supervision,
- Sound customer service skills,
- Calm and patient under pressure,
- Ability to show initiative and work proactively to ensure the smooth running of the site.
