THE COMPANY:

Sandvik Mining and Construction Nigeria Ltd is a company that makes a broad range of projects and services utilized in the mining industry and is in the ownership of Sandvik AB, a company listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
  

POST TITLE:   FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT (Nigeria)
PURPOSE OF JOB:

• Financial Accountant (Nigeria) reports directly to the Financial Manager – West Africa.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Minimum HND in Accounting. Part qualification of either ACCA or CA Nigeria would be preferred,
• Must have at least three years post qualification experience.

KEY DUTIES:

• General Ledger functions,
• Statutory payments and returns,
• Banking,
• Petty cash,
• Non-trading local accounts payable,
• Statutory reporting.

OTHERS:

Any other that may be assigned by the Financial Manager
 
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Successful applicants would be required to work at SMC sites in Nigeria and other West African Countries.
