An International Company Job Vacancies: Recruitment for Assistant Subsea Officer, Dech Pusher, Crane Operator, Third Engineer

An international ultra-deepwater drilling contractor currently in the process of mobilization to Nigeria to embark on drilling  campaign in the Nigeria waters is in dare need of Nigeria candidates to fill the below senior technical positions on the drillship:

POST TITLE:   Assistant Subsea Officer

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Must be a Nigerian with at least five years experience in either a derrickman of rig mechanic position in an ultra-deep drillship or other floating drilling rig operations with seven years of experience.

BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct inspection, maintenance and repair rounds on all subsea related equipment and also maintain the housekeeping on board the drillship to the highest standard.

POST TITLE:   Deck Pusher

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Must be a Nigerian with a minimum of six years experience as offshore Crane operator and supervisory skills to manage crane operators and roustabouts on the rig with basic certificates

BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervises all crane operators and deck Operations roustabouts on the rig who are engaged in picking up or laying down tubular, running risers and casing, and loading/storage of deck cargo and equipment ALSO coordinate boat operations particularly loading and uploading of materials and products.

POST TITLE:   Crane Operators

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

• Must be a Nigerian with a minimum of four years experience in a knuckle boom technologically operated crane on a 5^th or 6^th generation drilling rig and with certification to operate same.

BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the crane and supervises the roustabouts on the drill floor and that the other departments receive equipments necessary for efficient operation

POST TITLE:   Third Engineer

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Candidate must be a Nigerian with a minimum of five years post graduation experience on a drillship preferably a 5^th or 6^th generation drillship. Seven years experience with other types of offshore drilling rig may be considered if accompanied by a tract record of exceptional achievements.

BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Executing preventive and corrective maintenance, repair of hydraulic , pneumatic and mechanical component of all equipment in his area of responsibility and under all circumstances, maintain a minimum amount of spares onboard drill ship.
