A Leading International Oil and Gas Company Job Vacancies: Recruitment for Project Subsea Engineers, Lead Subsea Controls System Engineer, Oil Spill Preparedness and Response Coordinator

THE ORGANIZATION:

A Leading International Oil and Gas based in Nigeria is inviting suitable candidates to apply for the under-listed positions that exist in her clients organisation.

POST TITLE:   Project Subsea Engineers

Scope of Service include but not limited to the followings:

• The service holder will be part of both Drilling and SPS organizations at project phase (with interface responsibility and as future responsible of tree installation) and will be integrated to operational drilling team during the drilling campaign as head of W/X-tree/WH operations,
• X-tree/WH engineering and procurement,
• Participate to the detailed design and specification of the subsea well elements (Xmas tree, tubing hanger, IWOCS SPS / well interfaces,
• Coordinate interface between SPS and drilling packages (subsea tree to downhole interface (completion) + subsea equipment to rig interface),
• Well head operations control and follow the installation of sufficient logistics and onshore support for X-tree operations,
• Prepare, coordinate and control the planning of X-tree/WH equipment delivery,
• Manage the X-tree/WH Installation Assistance Contract.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Engineering degree (Generalist Mechanical Petroleum, Chemical, Process)
• 8-12 years experience in well and SPS engineering and operations.

POST TITLE:   Lead Subsea Controls System Engineer

Scope of Service include but not limited to the followings:

• Follow-up of Basic Engineering (BE) Contractors activities related to the Subsea Control System (SCS) in order to ensure compliance with Company / Project specifications and in accordance with the BE schedule requirements,
• Manage the production of the BE Design Dossier for the SCS to ensure that design definition is consistent with the objectives of the Call for Tender (CFT),
• Review / development of the SPS Scope of Supply document for the Subsea Control System and associated equipment- production deliverables test equipment, installation aids and spares – to ensure it is complete and in accordance with SPS Contract needs,
• Liaise with other disciplines (Particularly Manifolds, Trees and Installation and Work Over Controls System – IWOCS) and Packages (UFR, FPSO, Drilling and Field Operation teams) to ensure cross-package and inter-contract compliance and consistency in installation and operation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: Professional engineer

• Qualification: 10-15 years experience in Subsea Control Systems equipment, including topsides as well as underwater located components,
• Previous experience of FEED / Basic Engineering Studies is a distinct advantage.

POST TITLE:   Oil Spill Preparedness and Response Coordinator

Scope of Service include but not limited to the followings:

• Assist the various operational and support entities of DEEPWATER in implementing its Oil Spill Contingency Plans(OSCPs),
• Ensure updating of reference documents, maintenance of oil spill equipments, products and materials, training of people, drills and exercises,
• Review various oil spill contingency plans and when necessary, organize revisions with the various environmental entities,
• Review and document minimum volumes and stockpiles of dispersants or equipment available in storage.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of offshore oil and gas E and P operations,
• Graduate engineer, with at least 8 years experience in environmental management activities for offshore and onshore engineering, construction and production of oil and gas facilities Fluent in English with good communication skills,
• Recognised Environmental Management qualification,
• Experience in EMS implementation, Environment Studies, Operations. Reporting and Oil spill management,
• Sound Knowledge in Environment and Safety matters, e.g , legislations, codes of practice. Company specifications. etc,.
