THE CLIENT:

Our client in the Oil and Gas Industry with ambitions to expand its operations beyond Nigeria requires candidates to fill the positions below:

POST TITLE:   Chief Operating Officer- Ref:  OG/01

THE ROLE:

This role entails responsibilities and accountability for managing and coordinating all company activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for managing all areas of operations to ensure revenues, profits and return on investment are maximized
  • Manage the day-to-day functions of operations
  • Responsible for business developments and introduction of new product lines and opportunities,
  • Monitor all contractual obligations (commercial & technical)
  • Responsible for execution of project within cost, time, quality and safety parameters responsible for implementation and proper compliance
  • Develop and execute annual budgets and mid and long term strategic plans
  • Maintain / improve good public relations with the customers and suppliers and liaising with the principals to support agency management.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Applicant must possess a university degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • 10-20 years post qualification experience in the upstream Oil & Gas Industry
  • A higher degree in a relevant discipline as well as Masters in Business Administration will be an added advantage.
  • Onshore/offshore oil and gas operations experience
  • Hands-on technical skills on vessel operations for offshore
  • An extensive network of contacts in the industry.

POST TITLE:   Group Business Development Manager – Ref: OG/02

THE ROLE:

This role entails giving attention to business development and exploiting the business opportunities presented by the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop overall marketing and corporate communications strategy for all the subsidiary companies
  • Facilitate client development through marketing and client services programs,
  • Investigate and understand the economic conditions surrounding the business activity
  • Advice the company on changes in the industry
  • Adopt team approach; work with others in pursuing common goals,
  • Understand the skills and qualities required for the growth of the business.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Applicant must possess a university degree in one of the commerce, accounting, economics or business administration streams
  • At least 10 years work experience with considerable sales experience
  • Organized and strong negotiation.
  • Aware of and responsive to economic trends, government policies and currency fluctuations.
  • Target of working to expand the company’s product reach and profit revenues by identifying new markets and attracting new clients.

POST TITLE:   Business Development Officer – Ref: OG/03
  • Business Development Officer will meet and exceed monthly sales quota objectives by acquiring the accounts of businesses within assigned geographical territory. Candidate must be able to sell products and services to gain new business through prospecting, cold-calling, networking and generating leads and referrals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identify customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques continuously update knowledge of company’s products, services, and the competitive dynamic of the marketplace.
  • Organize training for new customers
  • Fully utilize all sales force automation, funnel management and prospecting tool manage sales funnel and generate report on sales activities and forecasting.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Applicant must have B.Sc/HND in Social Science
  • 2 years of Business Development experience with demonstrated history of achievement
  • Have knowledge of training and consulting
  • Be optimistic and possess leadership skills
  • Ability to manage customers
  • Ability to absorb large amounts of technical knowledge
  • Possess time management skills
  • Possess a good business writing skill.

POST TITLE:   Senior Accountant – Ref: OG/04

THE ROLE:

This role ensures the successful management of the finance and accounting Operations on assigned entities.
  • Provide financial information at the defined time/periods
  • Provide flexibility of data whilst maintaining integrity,
  • Ensure management is supplied with information to assist in the stewardship of the Company
  • Ensure accounting staff understand the changing needs as well as strategic direction and objective of the company,
  • Ensure compliance with shareholders requirements,
  • Align departmental strategy with the corporate strategy, goals and objectives.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • ACA and core accounting experience of minimum of 5yrs to 7yrs.
  • Experience in preparing management account, budgeting/forecasting
  • Ability to write up books to final a/c level
  • Appreciating of the loan raising process
  • Preferably an auditor with strong audit background in one of the big audit firms.

POST TITLE:   Bids and Tenders Officer Ref: OG/05

THE ROLE:

The role entails responsibility towards bids, tenders preparations and submissions

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Timeliness and accuracy in delivery of bids packages,
  • Awareness to bid processes and procedures
  • Compliance with company’s policies and procedures
  • Compliance with the specifications noted in the customer’s bid request
  • Professional presentation of completed bid packages
  • Effective record system and data management.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Applicant must possess a university degree
  • Using NIPEX(NNPC-NAPIMS) on-line bidding methods
  • 5 years work experience in related task experience
  • Preparing and Co-cordination of all tenders
  • Compilation and submission of bids
  • Strong planning and organizational skill
  • Ability to gather, organize, interpret and collate data from multiple sources.

POST TITLE:   Personal Assistant to the Chairman Ref: OG/06

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Personal Assistant to the Chairman shall be responsible for the day to day administrative related to the office of the Chairman

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for heavy calendar management, requiring interaction with both internal and external executives and contractors.
  • Coordinate a variety of complex executive meetings; attend meetings to take notes or dictation and/or to provide general assistance
  • Answer phones and direct all incoming calls to appropriate party promptly and efficiently
  • Communicate and handle incoming and outgoing electronic communications on behalf of the Partners
  • Work closely with the Chairman to coordinate and launch hard copy or email campaigns to contractors, clients and potential clients,
  • Organize and store relevant paperwork, documents and computer-based information,
  • Any other duty as may be requested by management.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Applicant must possess B.sc/HND Business Administration
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience preferably in a similar role
  • Minimum of 2 years driving experience within Lagos (Valid Driver’s License)
  • Excellent calendar management skills, including the coordination of complex executive meetings.
