THE CLIENT:
Our client, a large building marital manufacturing organization located in the south-south part of Nigeria is searching for thoroughbred professionals to fill the positions below:
POST TITLE: Production Manager (Ref: PM)
JOB PURPOSE/SPECIFICATION:
- To monitor and control the execution of all mechanical activities in the productive process equipment plant,
- To ensure efficient, economic and safe operation of equipment from raw material processing to packaging,
- To coordinate production activities with the objective of achieving target volume of production and market requirements.
- To ensure quality production of clinker and cement in-line with technical specification and Nigerian industrial standards,
- To coordinate the maintenance team to achieve the rated output of equipment,
- To work with various departments in order to ensure availability of resources (materials, equipment etc),
- To monitor implementation of various management systems and ensure safety standards are followed,
- To develop an efficient team of staff, ensure succession & motivation and perform any other duties that may be assigned by the management.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Applicant should have B.Sc/HND in Chemical or Industrial Engineering is required for the job. Experience in FLS design is an added advantage,
- Must be computer literate, conversant with Autocad, cement manufacturing process, equipment operation and occupational health & safety rules,
- Must possess communication, leadership, analytical and problem solving skills,
- Minimum of 10 years post NYSC experience in production operation of well structured manufacturing industry is necessary for this position.
POST TITLE: Mechanical Maintenance Manager (Ref: MMM)
JOB PURPOSE/SPECIFICATION:
- To develop and standardize repair methods/operations,
- To conduct mechanical diagnosis of bearing deterioration, poor gear assembling, kiln
- adjustment/alignment, motor alignment,
- To analyze using root cause maintenance method and undertake emergency repairs or corrective actions,
- To estimate equipment downtime for carrying out maintenance operation and define the necessary resources required (number and competency),
- To participate in budget preparation and update existing job-plans for major operations in the year
- To prepare start-up for new equipment, monitor maintenance and integrate safety into all maintenance activity
- To document all maintenance reparation into Navision and use Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure application of company’s maintenance model.
- To coordinate training, performance review, career development and recruitment of staff with Human Resources Department.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Applicant must possess B.Sc/HND in Mechanical Engineering is required for the job. Experience in FLS design is an added advantage.
- Must be computer literate, conversant with Autocad, bearing/electrics motor type theory/application, FMEA method for analysis and non-destructive testing
- Must possess knowledge in welding techniques, transmission, overhauling, precious tool measurement, vibration measurement, pneumatics, hydraulic system and equipment maintenance (crusher, stacker, reclaimer, raw mill, belt conveyors, auxiliary equipment etc)
- Must possess communication, leadership, coaching and problem solving skills
- At least 10 years cognate experience in a structured manufacturing environment. 5 years of which must be in plant maintenance as mechanical head or supervisor.
SALARY/REMUNERATION:
- Our client pays above average market rate and is willing to pay enough to attract best candidate for the job.
