Marvel Hotel Latest Job Vacancies: Recruitment for Hotel Manager, Accounts Supervisor, Chef, Secretary

POST TITLE:   Hotel Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:
  • The Hotel Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of the hotel and its staff. 
  • The candidate must possess a B.Sc. in Business Administration or Hotel and Hospitality Management. 
  • Minimum of Second Class Lower degree (2.2), 4 years experience in the Hospitality Industry.
The candidate must show evidence of the followings:
  • A friendly personality and genuine desire to help and please others;
  • Ability to think clearly and make quick decisions;
  • Numerical and logistical planning skills;
  • Flexibility and ‘can do’ mentality;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to balance customer and business priorities.

POST TITLE:   Accounts Supervisor

The candidate should have a B.Sc, in Accounting with 3 years of accounting experience, knowledge of Hotel accounting will be an advantage.

SPECIAL SKILLS:
  • Proficiency in the use of the computer,
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet (EXCEL),
  • Knowledge of the basic accounting procedures,
  • Effective interpersonal skills.

POST TITLE:   Chef
  • A chef is much more than a profession it’s a passion. And in the right hands food is much more than a biological necessity. It’s an art form meant to be savored. POST TITLE:   Secretary

The candidate is responsible for providing comprehensive and efficient management of administration services of the Hotel. B.Sc or HND in Business Administration or Secretarial Study, 3 years experience in general office management.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES & SKILLS:
  • Knowledge of English,
  • Knowledge of specialized formats for letters, memos and reports,
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing,
  • Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
