POSITION OVERVIEW:
Banyan Global, an international development consulting firm based in the US, is seeking a national Health Sector Business Support Manager for a position based in Lagos. Nigeria. This position involves coordinating and monitoring the delivery of business support services for private health care providers, including pharmacies clinics and hospitals, across different states in Nigeria. Specifically, the Business Support Manager will oversee the roll-out private health sector trade fairs, coordinate a series of business training courses and facilitate referral linkages between financial institutions and various stakeholders in the health sector, including individual providers, professional associations and HMOs. The Business Support Manager will be part of a team of professionals financial and business support services for private health care organizations in Nigeria
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience including:
- Knowledge and understanding of the business needs of small and medium-sized businesses
- Knowledge of business development services, including training, counseling and business networking
- Experience in event planning and coordination
- Excellent project management, communication, writing and computer skills
- Capacity to negotiate, manage and build partnerships
- Familiarity with the private health sector in Nigeria
- Masters degree in Education. Business Administration or other relevant discipline or Bachelor’s degree and 7 or more years of experience
- Ability to take initiative and work as a team player
- Ability to travel within Nigeria (up to 30% of time).
