THE CLIENT:

Due to continued growth in one of our client’s organization, we are recruiting the following positions for a leading transport and logistics provider in Nigeria. Our client requires the following positions for immediate employment.

POST TITLE:   Transport Supervisor (Logistics and Admin)

 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

• The overall responsibility of this position is to manage and supervise all the aspects of the transport function: from direct supervision of the drivers, their route sheet and schedule and the operations of the engineers,
• This position will act as the ambassador of the company by liaising with clients and customers, handling enquires and bookings and supervising deliveries and ensuring optimal utilization of all vehicles,
• The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that the daily operational and financial needs are met accurately and effectively,
• Candidates applying for this position must be a graduate with at least 5 years experience in transport supervision: particularly in the logistics and haulage industry,
• He/She must be able to think on feet and make quick, informed decisions,
• He must possess exceptional customer focused skills, and should be comfortable at representing the business at meetings, Excellent writing and oral communication skills is essential for this position,
• Ability to communicate with drivers effectively will be an added advantage.

POST TITLE:   Account Clerk 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

• An experience accounts Clerk is required for day to day running of the operations account,
• This includes management of expenses and petty cash, bank,
• Reconciliations, process weekly and monthly cash forecast as well as monthly P and L accounts,
• Applicants should be qualified at least to Accounting Technician level or the equivalent stage of a professional accounting qualification with at least 3 years experience in a similar role,
• A good working knowledge of Excel and an accounting package will be an added advantage.

POST TITLE:   Driver (x8)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

• The primary function of the drivers is to perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all federal, State, and local regulations for secure and safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle (CMV),
• All applicants must have posses a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the ample knowledge of FRSC laws,
• A minimum of 3 years recent driving experience of heavy duty trucks, operating similar equipment (MACK) over long distance travels is mandatory,
• Candidates applying for this position must be able to read, write, communicate and comprehend English language sufficiently enough to respond to questions and inquires from clients when handling customer’s freight,
• Drivers applying for this position must include a work history record with the respective contact details.
