JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Delivery of internal communications activities within the established framework eg weekly, monthly, quarterly communications channels, company conferences,
- Cascade all Unilever announcements, including regional and global messages,
- Content updates and maintenance of internal and external portals,
- Working with Unilever colleagues to manage appropriate internal campaigns,
- Apply the instrumentality of business communications in enhancing employees engagement through cascade, company events, conferences etc,
- Implementation of regular measurement tool to assess effectiveness of communication,
- Participation in Unilever Nigeria Magazine editorial board and provision of story ideas/content/contacts,
- Participation in virtual team meetings to ensure consistency and coordination
JOB PURPOSE:
- Provide best practice internal communication to business,
- Keep internal audiences abreast of developments impacting business unit – both internally and externally – and provide a context for understanding the implications,
- Support external communications efforts with regards to media relations and corporate reputation
JOB MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Highly experienced and competent with effectively deploring internal communications tools,
- Change management or coaching/consultancy experience and tool,
- Strong writing skills,
- Minimum of a BSC from a reputable University,
- Minimum of two/three years experience in similar role.
