THE COMPANY:
A holding Company with business interests across various sectors of the Nigerian economy had a vacancy for the post of a Principal Manager (Finance & Accounts).

POST TITLE: Principal Manager (Finance and Accounts)
THE JOB:
- To report to the Chief Accountant and coordinate the schedules of other accounts staff,
- To oversee the keeping and maintenance of proper accounting records of the organization,
- Ensure adequate compliance with financial regulations and accounting codes by all staff under his control,
- Ensure timely and accurate rendition of all financial information, viz; management account, bank reconciliation, profile of revenue and expenditure etc,
- Develop budget proposals and ensure effective budgetary control,
- Ensure compliance of deductions and remittance of all statutory dues,
- Advise the Chief Accountant on all financial matters,
- Any other responsibility that may be assigned.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate should have the under listed qualification and experience:
- A good Bachelors’ degree in Accountancy or its equivalent,
- Minimum of 10 years cognate and demonstrable experience,
- Must be of private sector background,
- Must be computer literate,
- Must be a member of a professional body,
- Must possess integrity, managerial ability and be result oriented,
- Have good administrative skills,
- Is not above 45 years.
