A Leading Telecoms Company Latest Jobs in Nigeria: Recruitment for Site Maintenance Consultant

As part of our technology renovation to ensure excellent voice and data quality for our customers, we require contractors who can deliver on the following:

POST TITLE:   Site Maintenance Consultant


SCOPE OF WORK FOR MAINTENANCE CONTRACT OF AIR CONDITIONERS:

-    Lubrication of compressor and fan motor,
-    Flushing the system,
-    Replacement of faulty capacitors and air filters,
-    Flushing and vacuuming of the air flow systems,
-    Flushing and vacuuming of the drainage systems,
-    Full servicing and replacement of filters,
-    Filling of gas when required,
-    Replacement of damaged sockets, plugs and cables when required,
-    All other works that could come up except replacement of compressors, fan motor and blowers,
-    Checking of electrical connections regularly.

SCOPE OF WORK FOR THE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT OF GENERATORS:

Servicing and maintenance of the generators at every 250 hours and carrying out more detailed maintenance on the Gensets as specified by manufacturer as listed below.

MAINTENANCE EVERY 250hrs:

-    Supply and use of first grade oil, original filters and spare parts cables tubes and proper disposal of old oil and consumables
-   Checking of the engine mounts
-   Lubricating power take off switch shaft bearings
-    Change engine oil and replacing oil filter
-    Change fuel filter
-    Check and adjust fan and alternator V-Belt tension
-   Check P.T.O. (power take-off) clutch adjustment
-    Check the effectiveness of Earthing System i.e. Gensets, Tank, IP55 stand
-    Re-tighten all partial contacts in IP55 panel and Generator panel
-    Use Electric blower to blow out dust from the ALT windings
-    Battery maintenance 

MAINTENANCE EVERY 500 hours:

-    Lubricate Power Take Off clutch, Internal Levers and Linkage
-   Clean Crank Case Vent Tube
-   Check Air Intake System
-    Replace Fuel Filter Element
-    Check Cooling System Test Diesel Engine Coolant
-    Carry out the lubricant oil test

MAINTENANCE EVERY 1500 hrs:

-    Check and adjust engine value clearance
-    Adjust variable speed on Genset engines
-    Flushing and refilling cooling system
-    Test Thermostat opening temperature
-    Stopping of diesel leakage in the installations at all times
-    Service fire extinguisher.
-    Carry out the steam cleaning of the radiator at least three times a year
-    General test of the switchover system for the Gensets, external alarm test, cable and fuel supply system inspection

3. Maintenance of aviation light cables and fittings, and other electrical accessories in the shelter, tower and surroundings i.e. sockets, circuit breakers, security lights, shelter light fittings etc.,
These include but not limited to checking of bulbs and replacement when necessary, checking of wiring connections and protections at least once a week,
4. Supply of diesel and maintenance of diesel level in tanks at 2,500ltrs minimum for BTS sites, 18,000ltrs minimum for MSCs and Call Center, 8,500ltrs for tanks between 10,000- 15,000itrs capacity and 15,000itrs minimum for tanks between 20,000-25,000ltrs capacity,
5. General cleaning and maintenance of the cell site and its immediate surroundings,
6. Maintenance of backup batteries, drain test measurements and possibility of replacement when the need arises,
7. Flushing of the diesel tank when necessary,
8. Submission of weekly maintenance report,
9. Submission of fuelling and maintenance form at the end of every month for compilation of payment,
10. Cleaning of the main diesel tank every month,
11. For all generators above 60kva, submit the oil analysis report at every 250-500hours.
