THE ORGANIZATION:

The Conference of the Northern States Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (CONSCCIMA), which is made up of the chambers of commerce, industry, mines and agriculture in the 19 Northern states of Nigeria and Abuja FCT, is desirous of appointing a Director-General to head the organization’s secretariat based in Kaduna.

POST TITLE:   Director-General

Interested candidates who meet the under-listed requirements are invited to apply:

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
  • Prospective candidate(s) are required to possess amongst others the following:
  • A first degree either in Business Admin., Economics or any other Social Sciences,
  • A Masters Degree and/or professional qualification in a relevant field would be an added advantage.
JOB EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of 15 years’ post-qualification working experience of which 5 years must be in a Management position.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must submit a 2-page document in own handwriting containing;
  • The candidate’s understanding of the Sector;
  • A proposition on how to manage and move the organization forward;
  • Must be mature, analytical and possess excellent organizational ability;
  • Possession of IT knowledge is necessary.

AGE LIMIT: Prospective candidate(s) must be not less than 40 years and maximum of 55 years old.

SALARY/REMUNERATION: Negotiable but highly attractive.
