THE INSTITUTION:

Federal University Wukari, Taraba State is one of the nine newly established Federal Universities in Nigeria. Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions below in the University for non teaching Staff.

CENTRAL LABORATORY/EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE SERVICES UNIT:

POST TITLE:  Director, Central Laboratory Services (Contiss 15)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus eighteen (18) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of Nigerian institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) (and other relevant professional bodies) or a,
• Masters degree from a recognized university in a relevant field plus fifteen (15) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of relevant professional bodies.

POST TITLE:   Deputy Director, Central Laboratory Services ( Contiss 15)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus twelve (12) years post qualification NYSC cognate experience and membership of Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) and other relevant professional bodies or;
• A Masters degree from a recognized University in a relevant field plus fifteen (15) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of relevant professional bodies,

INFORMATION & COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY (ICT):

POST TITLE:  Senior System Analyst/Programmer Engineers (Contiss 9)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution plus six (6) years post NYSC cognate experience; or
• A Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a recognized University, with three (3) years post NYSC cognate experience.

POST TITLE:   Systems Analyst/Programmer Engineers I (Contiss 8)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution plus three (3) years post NYSC cognate experience,
• A Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a recognized university, plus NYSC experience.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus three (3) years post NYSC cognate experience.

POST TITLE:   Science Laboratory Instrument Technologists II (Contiss 7)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus NYSC.

POST TITLE:   Senior Science Laboratory Instrument Technologists (Contiss 9)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus six (6) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of relevant professional bodies or a Masters degree from a recognized University in a relevant field plus three (3) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of relevant professional bodies.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Candidates should possess a good honours degree or HND from a recognized tertiary institution in a relevant field plus three (3) years post NYSC cognate experience and membership of NISLT.

NOTE:

All Candidates must possess an NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate or Certificate of Exclusion where applicable;

Salaries and Allowances attached to the various vacancies are the same with the approved Salary Scheme for Federal Universities in Nigeria:

Candidates who are awaiting results may not be considered and need not apply; Computer literacy is required for all officer cadre and above.
