A Fast Growing Construction and Property Development Company Latest Jobs: Recruitment for 4 Job Positions

THE CLIENT:

Ours is a fast Growing Construction and Property Development Company based in Lagos with projects in Nigeria and West Africa Sub-region. Envisioned to be the leading global Construction and Property Development Company committed to superior value delivery to its customers and other stakeholders. Due to expansion of our client base, we seek exceptionally qualified and motivated candidates to fill the following positions.

POST TITLE:   Project Coordinator/Development Manager
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To coordinate all business development and research activities required to provide necessary information to support business decisions,
  • To actively engage with relevant stakeholders (both internal and external) in ensuring project deliverables are met,
  • Define Project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders,
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals,
  • Proactively coordinating projects and acting as central point of contact for the project team.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • A good university degree or HND in Engineering or other related disciplines,
  • Demonstrable experience of not less than eight (8) years in handling similar responsibilities in the construction industry would be preferred.

POST TITLE:   Architect

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Designing new structured-extensions or alterations to existing structures or advising on the restoration and conservation of old properties and other structures,
  • Preparing and presenting feasibility reports and design proposals,
  • Using computer aided design (CAD) in design and project management,
  • Producing detailed workings, drawings and specifications for construction and approval,
  • Regular site visit to check on progress, ensuring that the project is running on time and to budget.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • A good university degree or HND in Architecture or other related field,
  • A minimum of 2-4 years post NYSC working experience in the construction industry would be preferred.

POST TITLE:   Quantity Surveyor

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To prepare estimates and costs of work to be done per project,
  • To manage the company’s cost profile relating to building and construction engineering projects,
  • Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the Architect,
  • Undertaking costs analysis for construction, repairs and maintenance project work,
  • Advising on procurement strategy.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • A good university degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Geography, Mathematics, Urban and Land Studies, Civil or Structural Engineering or other related field,
  • A minimum of 2-4 years post NYSC work experience in the construction industry would be preferred.

POST TITLE:   Project/Site Engineers

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Acting as a main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontrators, crafts people and operatives,
  • Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications,
  • Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the Architect,
  • Liasing with any consultant sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and general workforce involved in the project,
  • Day-to-Day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • A good university degree or HND in Building Construction Technology or Structural Engineering or other related field,
  • A minimum of 4-6 years post NYSC work experience in the construction industry would be preferred.
