A fast growing mortgage institution located in Lagos requires the service of well experienced personnel for employment in the below capacity.
POST TITLE: Company Secretary/Legal Adviser
JOB LOCATION: Lagos
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Applicants should have LLB, BL, (LLM is an Added Advantage),
- Must be a certified member of Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators,
- Post Qualification Experience of 7-10 years out of which four years must be in a financial institution.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Ensuring all statutory compliances under the companies act;
- Conducting board and shareholders’ meeting; preparing agenda, notices and minutes of board and shareholders meeting;
- Sound knowledge about the transfer of title documents in all key areas like Lagos, Ogun, Port-Harcourt, Abuja;
- Expert in drafting and vetting of agreement, memorandum of understandings, memorandum and articles of association;
- Good understanding of the company act guiding incorporation of companies.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Very strong managerial and leadership skills;
- Sound credit and marketing skill;
- Knowledge of financial services sector;
- Strong business sense;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
