Due to recent restructuring aimed at enhanced operational efficiency; and planned  expansion of its  business; our client, a leading  Market Research agency located  in Lagos require the services  of competent and  seasoned professionals to occupy the  positions below:

JOB TITLE: Research  Directors  (Ref: RD 1210)

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

1. Successful candidate will act as the technical head of the  Research Division with responsibility for: Client and  Project Design & Management; Study Analysis, Reporting & Presentation; Project teams guidance, etc. 

2. The  successful candidate will report directly to the Management Director/CEO while he will be responsible for managing a number of subordinates of middle/senior management cadre.

3. The right candidate should, with hard work, have the prospect of heading  the agency of any of its affiliates/operating countries in the near future.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Candidates should have university education preferably a Master degree  (or equivalent) in the social or Mathematical sciences or any other discipline with high numerate content or appropriate post degree qualifications,

2. Candidates will preferably be expected to have a least 10 years experience, half of which should be in a  senior position in a quantitative market research position, though exceptionally good candidates with excellent exposure but with less experience may be considered,

3. Proven ability and  experience of  managing large scale projects of  ad-hoc or  tracking  nature for  major multinationals will be required,

4. Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively and  cordially with field, data processing and  other internal units of the agency and clients  will be  crucial,

5. Experience at both agency and client sides will be added advantage,

6. Ability to work under pressure and ensure submission of project deliverables within agreed deadlines will be crucial.

JOB TITLE: Operations Director  (Ref: OD1210)

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

1. Will act as the technical head of the Operations Division incorporating the following  units: Data Processing (DP), Data Analysis & Management, Fieldwork Coordination, Quality  Assurance & Logistics,

2. The successful candidate will report directly to the  Managing  Director while he will be responsible for managing a  number of  subordinates  who will be  of middle/senior management.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Candidate should have a good university degree preferably a higher degree or equivalent in Operations research, social science or any other relevant discipline with high project management,

2. Candidate will preferably be expected to have at least 7 years cognate experience, half of which should be in a senior position in field work, data processing, data analysis or research executive position,

3. Even though the  right candidate may specialize in only 1 or  2 of the  areas of  responsibility stated above, working knowledge of the other areas will be important,

4. Proven ability and  experience of managing large scale  projects of ad-hoc or tracking  nature for major multinationals  will be   required,

5. Proven ability to work with clients directly will also be required,

6. Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively and cordially with other internal units of the agency and clients will be crucial,

7. Ability to work under pressure and ensure submission of project deliverables within agree deadlines will be crucial,

JOB TITLE: Group Statistical Analysis & Data Management   (Ref: GS1210)

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

1. Successful candidate will act as the  head of Data Analysis unit of the  agency with responsibility for data capture, statistical analysis, charting, database management and delivery of data in  formats prescribed by clients and the research department,

2. Writing of report to the  clients and  answering any query that may arise there from on data  related issues will be an important role.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Candidates should possess a good university degree or equivalent  in Computer Science, statistics or a discipline with high numerate and computer application content

2. Required minimum cognate experience is 5 years part of which must be at middle/senior management level in a market research agency or similar organizations where deadlines are often tight and expectations of deliverable quality is very high.

3.Proficiency in market research related software like  QPSMR, Quantum, SPSS (advanced statistics), STATA, STATS,  Minitab, Gestalt, etc will be of crucial importance

4. The successful candidate will report to the Operations Director.

5. Experience at both agency and client sides will be added advantage.
