A Leading Financial Services Firm Jobs in Nigeria: Recruitment for Investment Portfolio Manager, Real Estate Portfolio Manager

We are a Leading Financial Services Firm seeking to recruit suitable candidates to fill the positions below:

POST TITLE:   Investment Portfolio Manager

Eligible candidate must possess the followings:

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

The candidate must be intelligent, articulate, hardworking, optimistic with a positive attitude, take responsibility, be able to work under pressure, possess good analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Exercise of overall portfolio management responsibility for assigned portfolios.
  • Development and implementation of strategies for improvement of the portfolio management functions.
  • Construction of model portfolios based on profile, size, currency or other criterias.
  • Product development and cross-selling of all business products and services,
  • Review and authorization of proposed trades from secondary portfolio managers,
  • All other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Management.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Candidate should have B.Sc degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related course from a reputable University with minimum of second class upper division (2:1) Professional qualification e.g. ACA /ACCA is compulsory,
  • Minimum of 3 years post qualification professional experience in research and/or portfolio management. Experience with a similar position in the banking sector/financial services sector is a must.

POST TITLE:   Real Estate Portfolio Manager

Eligible candidate must possess the followings:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  
Core responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Successfully establish key operational indicators for each project,
  • Work with project principals on negotiation, structuring and legal documentation of investments,
  • Source for new businesses and develop product mix for the unit,
  • Review project related data, including inventories, budgets and planning reports to obtain information on project status and requirements,
  • All other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Management.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Candidate should have B.Sc/Masters degree with a preference for Real Estate Management, Finance, minimum of second class lower division,
  • Membership of a relevant professional organization,
  • Minimum of 2 – 3 years post qualification experience in real estate finance, development or construction. Experience with a similar position in the Mortgage banking/financial services sector is compulsory.
