ACF-International Latest Jobs in Nigeria: Recruitment for 4 Job Positions

THE ORGANIZATION:

ACF-International is a registered charity, founded in 1979 now operating in 37 countries. ACF in Nigeria is seeking young, motivated, and experienced professionals to support strengthening nutrition programming in Jigawa State.

POST TITLE:   Monitoring and Evaluation (M/E) Advisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  •  Applicant should have Advanced training in quantitative methodologies, including database management; direct experience of M&E related to health, HIV, nutrition and/ or economics; strong analytic skills, and an understanding of a range of methods for monitoring, evaluation and assessment to promote evidence-based learning.

POST TITLE:   Infant/Young Child Feeding Advisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants should have health background (doctor, nurse, midwife, etc) with least 3 years of professional experience. At least 2 years experience on IYCF and breastfeeding counseling.

OVERALL REQUIRED:

Overall required skills for all posts:
  • Sound strategic thinking and planning skills, including ability to think creatively /innovate and to set priorities, manageable work plans and evaluate progress with strong interest in sustainability.
  • Ability to build support from staff across teams and across members, and to build the capacity of others,
  • Ability to work in partnership with government and other organizations’ staff,
  • Advanced Computer Knowledge & Usage
  • Fluency (both written and verbal) in English and Hausa essential.
  • Independence, adaptability and flexibility,
  • Commitment to team work and understanding of how to contribute.
  • Commitment to ACF mission values and approach.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:

Desirable Skills for all posts:
  • Previous experience with local and international NGOs,
  • Broad understanding of rights and development issues, international relations and the international humanitarian systems.

POST TITLE:   State Technical Advisor

OPEN POSITIONS & EDUCATION/TRAINING QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Applicant must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Programme Management, Health & Nutrition, Public Health, and/or related social science with + 3-5 years experience in managing health and nutrition programs.


POST TITLE:   LGA Technical Advisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Applicant  should have Bachelor’s Degree in Programme Management, Health & Nutrition, Public Health, and/or related social science with 4- 1-2 years experience in managing health & nutrition programs, committed to live at LGA level.
OVERALL REQUIRED:
