Kebbi State Community and Social Development Project Jobs Vacancies: Recruitment for Project Officer, IEC and Training, Project Officer – MIS, Operations Officer


The Federal Government has obtained a credit from the international Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of implementing the Kebbi State Community and Social Development Project (KBCSDP).

The objectives of the Programme is to sustainably increase access of poor people to improved social and natural resource infrastructure. It intends to apply a portion of this credit to eligible payments for engagement of the officers positions below:

JOB TITLE: Project Officer, IEC and Training 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
1. Undertake regular skills gap analysis of projects staff, line ministries LGRC and CPMC members and identify requisite training to address the gaps,
 
2. Liaising with other members of staff to develop communications strategy, effective and efficient promotions and outreach programmes,
 
3. Facilitate and support the planning, coordination, mobilization and advocacy activities within the State,
 
4. Supervise, in liaison with relevant SA staff and line ministries staff all training delivery to CPMCs and LGRCs,
 
5. Any other duties as may be assigned by Manager, Operations.

REQUIREMENTS: 
 
1. A university degree or HND in Mass Communication, Journalism, Agriculture Extension, Humanities, Social Sciences, or any related field, with at least five years post qualification experience, two of which should be in the relevant area.
 
2. The candidate must demonstrate practical experience and have a good knowledge of Computer with versatility in MS.

 
JOB TITLE: Project Officer – MIS

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
1. As the Head of Unit, design and prepare CSDP Management Information System and operational manual including the establishment of a working schedule,

2. Review alongside other project staff the data collection forms at the different stages of the micro-projects cycle,

3. Liaising with FPSU to develop, operate and maintain a good network system,

4. Develop reports or formats using existing MIS data,

5. Any other duty as may be assigned by the M&E Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:
 
1. A university Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or any related field with at least five years post qualification experience.
 
2. The candidate must demonstrate skills in the use of Electronic Spread Sheet, graphic designing packages, data- base management, programming and networking.


JOB TITLE: Operations Officer (OO)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
1. Facilitate communities to undertake group formation, needs assessment/ prioritization and formulation of socially inclusive and environmentally sustainable Community Development Plans (CDPs), in line with CSDP guidelines;
 
2. Stimulating local incentives and motivates Communities, through the Community Project Management Committees (CPMCs), to take charge of their own development agenda;
 
3. Liaising with communities, Local Government to collate and maintain information and data on project activities in each community; and
 
4. Responsible to the Project officer, Supervision.

REQUIREMENTS:
A University Degree or HND in Agriculture, Engineering, Environmental and Natural Sciences, Rural Development, Social Sciences, with at least two years post qualification and cognate working experience with communities Familiarity with MS Word will be an added advantage
