Local Government Service Commission, Minna Vacancies: Recruitment for Medical Officers II, Nurses/Midwives, Community Health Extension Workers, Junior Health Extension Workers

Following the construction of Hospitals and Clinics at strategic locations in all the 25 Local government Areas in Niger State, vacancies have been created for the recruitment of medical and health personnel to fill the positions below. Accordingly, applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates in respect of the following posts/cadres:
 

JOB TITLE: Medical Officers II

REQUIREMENTS:
 

Candidates must possess a degree in medicine  (MBBS) from a recognized institution or University and registered with the Nigerian Medical council.

JOB TITLE: Nurses/Midwives
REQUIREMENTS:
 

Candidate must possess the dual qualification of Nurse and Midwife and registered with the Nursing and Midwives Councils.

JOB TITLE: Community Health Extension Workers (CHEW)

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must possess the 3 years training programme leading  to the  award of a  CHEW Certificate  from a  recognized institution and registered with the  Community health Practitioners Registration Board of  Nigeria
 

JOB TITLE: Junior Health Extension Workers (JCHEW)

REQUIREMENTS:
 

Candidate must possess the 2 year training programme leading to the award of the JCHEW Certificate from any approved Health institution and licensed to practice.

Note:

Only candidates with the requisite qualification, especially those interested in making a career in the Niger State Local Government service, may apply. The requisite qualifications for the respective post/cardres are stated.

SALARY:

Salaries and allowances shall be in accordance with what obtains in Niger State Civil Service as applicable to Local Government service in Niger State.
