A Blue Chip Company Job: Vacancies for Project Director, Commercial Director

THE ORGANIZATION:

We are a Blue Chip Company with pan-African interests in Telecommunications, Oil and Gas, Banking and Real Estate poised to increase its manpower. We require the services of professionals to fill the positions below.


POST TITLE: Project Director

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

1. A first degree in Civil Engineering, Accounting or other Numeric disciplines.

2. Possession of MBA will be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE:

1. At least 15 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution,

2. Demonstrated experience in personnel management,

3. Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Plan, execute and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budgets,

2. Define project scope, goals arid deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders,

3. Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary,

4. Set and continually manage project expectation with team members and other stakeholders,

5. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path,

6. Develop and deliver project report, proposals, requirement documentation and presentation,

7. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crisis, and devise contingency plans,

8. Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.



QUALIFICATION:

Degree in Accounting or numerate field Possession of Professional Qualifications will be an advantage.

EXPERIENCED:

Minimum of 15 years experience in a Finance or Financial Control/Treasury department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Analyze the market and advise the Board on development opportunities. Ensure customer service excellence and take lead role in developing and managing service based partnerships & business relationships,

2. Identify new market opportunities, taking the lead in constructing robust and successful business proposals that secure new contracts and long term client relationships,

3. Ensure the Board and the Executive are systematically apprised of market opportunities, conditions and associated business developments,

4. Take Executive lead responsibility for the identification, development and implementation of all joint ventures and strategic partnerships,

5. Manage the directorate budget to meet the strategic and operational business plans,

6. Support the development of performance standards within the Service/Department to ensure the service is responsive to and meeting the needs of its customers.
