THE ORGANIZATION:
We are a blue chip company with pan-African interests in Telecommunications, Oil and Gas, Banking and Real Estate poised to increase its manpower. We require the services of professionals to fill the positions below.
POST TITLE: Adviser to the Chairman (on Upstream/ Downstream)
QUALIFICATION:
- Law degree
EXPERIENCE:
1. At least 10 years relevant post qualification experience, Significant experience in the Oil & Gas industry, ideally gained within a major Exploration & Production company
2. Experienced in matters of corporate governance
3. Must be able to offer direction and interpretation of current and emerging legal issues
4. Able to stay abreast of current legal issues and to consult experts to expand knowledge base.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide advice on legal and commercial matters relating to existing business activities, including potential risks and suggested mitigating actions,
2. Support the growth, development and implementation of corporate governance policies and procedures,
3. Advise management and the business development teams regarding the management of legal and commercial risks associated with new investment opportunities, providing advice on the structuring of transactions, compliance and corporate governance issues, management of local and regional legal issues, and recommending and managing retention of outside counsel,
4. Negotiation and drafting of framework and/or operating agreements and other documents required for the conduct of business. Negotiation and drafting of agreements for the procurement of goods and services,
5. Negotiation and resolution of legal and business issues encountered in the operation of the business, with an emphasis on a business-focused approach that complies with policies and applicable laws, and supports long-term interests and objectives,
6. Representing the company in negotiations and discussions and other dealings with regulators, government authorities, industry associations, customers, consultants and other third parties,
7. Provide management with well-founded legal reasoning and strategic insights necessary to protect the interests and reputation of generally,
8. Management of external counsel to ensure timely service and quality.
POST TITLE: Admin. Director
QUALIFICATION:
- Degree in numerate field. Second degree will be an added advantage
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 15 years working experience in Facilities Management, Project Management Fleet Management, Power and Utilities Engineering/ Management
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage the overall daily office operations, implement organizational strategies and policies and plan the use of materials and human resources
2. Develop and manage budget for all administrative departments, reviews operating costs and suggests cost-saving measures

4. Manage the overall daily office operations, negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, serve as primary liaison
5. Manage documents, as well as human resource policies in regard to research, and appointments in compliance with the rules and regulations of the organization.
6. Regulate the management information system along with reporting generation process.
