Nigeria French Language Village Job: Vacancy for , Director of Health Services

The is Nigeria’s inter-university Centre for French studies, established by the Federal of Nigeria to cater primarily for undergraduate students of French in tertiary institutions. It is an autonomous institution operating under the ambit of the National universities Commission (NUC)
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions below.

POST TITLE: (Contiss 14)

ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION:

1. Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree or HND with honours in accounting from a recognized Institution
 
2. Advanced degree in Accounting / / Finance //Statistics is an added advantage
 
3. Full membership of professionally recognized Accounting body is indispensable.
 
4. Candidates must be between 45 – 50 years old.

EXPERIENCE:

1. A minimum of 12 years post qualification experience preferably in an educational environment, similar to that of a university is required,

2. The is the administrative head of Audit Unit, He is directly responsible to the Director-General for Internal Audit and other allied duties on daily basis.


POST TITLE: Director of Health Services (Contiss15)

ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION:

1. Candidate must possess a first degree with honours in Medicine (MBBS or ) from a recognized university,
 
2. Evidence of one year housemanship,
 
3. Evidence of participation in the Youth Service Corps () or a Certificate of exemption from ,
 
4. Possession of registration with Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria,
 
5. Fellowship of the West African College of Physicians,
 
6. Medical College or Its equivalence in family medicine, General Practice or
 
7. Postgraduate degree in relevant  similar disciplines,
 
8. Working  knowledge of French Language is required,
 
9. Candidates must be  between 45-50 years old.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 15 year cognate experience, preferably in hospital/health centre administration of an educational environment similar to that of a university.

BASIC COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL POSITIONS:

It is to be noted that for any of the positions above the ideal candidate must be someone with the following  relevant  skills and competences,
 
1. Good team player able to effectively co-ordinate the activities of a department,
 
2. Excellent communication skills,
 
3. Good interpersonal relations skills,
 
4. Ability to work with limited supervision,
 
5. Ability to co-ordinate diverse but relevant activities and projects,
 
6. Ability to work under pressure,
 
7. Good presentation and advocacy skills,
 
8. Good internet skills,
 
9. Good knowledge of ICT software eg Microsoft office package,
 
10. Proven professional competence and enviable administrative pedigree
 
11. The candidate must be diligent forthright but diplomatic,
 
12. Ability to initiate proactive policies geared at propelling the French Village forward.
