Oil and Gas Company Jobs: Recruitment for Assistant Manager -Engine Overhauling, Assistant Manager- Workshop General Maintenance, Assistant Manager-Mobile Crane Maintenance

As part of its expansion process, our client, a leading oil servicing conglomerate urgently requires the services of resourceful and experienced professionals to fill the positions below:

POST TITLE: Assistant Manager-Engine Overhauling

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. The Assistant Manager- Engine Overhauling is responsible for the effective overhauling of all engines in the company in order to meet organizational objectives,

2. He evaluates engine conditions, performance data and implements overhauling plans as approved.

EDUCATION:

1. Mechanical Technical or Engine Expert from an accredited Institution of higher education with a minimum of ten years experience,

2. Excellent knowledge in overhauling, repair and maintenance of diesel engines preferably caterpillar and Cummings,

3. Solid mechanical background and strong knowledge of diesel engine trouble shooting and experienced in working with working with diagnostic equipment,

4. Proven background in the supervision and management of a workforce of skilled craftsmen in maintenance environment,

5. Very well organized, proactive, hands-on, flexible and autonomous.

EXPERIENCE

1. At least ten years in a top level functional engine overhauling role within the or manufacturing environment.

2. Strong leadership and consensus building skills; Sound management and planning skills; a proven track record in developing and administering a winning overhauling program is a must.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. This is a general maintenance work at the most complex level, responsible for general maintenance of company’s engineering based operations,

2. The general Maintenance Assistant manager performs the maintenance and repair of facilities, oversees the maintenance and repairs of facilities and equipments by staffs and vendors, participates in managing the maintenance budget, inspects equipments and facilities for performance verification and quality control, exchange information with management staff on operations and special projects, participates in maintenance of equipments and facilities by estimating labour, material and equipment requirements and coordinating staff to perform the work and coordinates approved vendors/contractors.

EDUCATION:

1. Technical Qualification HND/BSC Mechanical engineering degree required.

2. Concentration on engine reworking preferred.

3. Emphasis is on performance and delivery of targets and stated goals.

EXPERIENCE:

1. At least in a top level functional engine overhauling role   or manufacturing environment.

2. Strong leadership and consensus building skills; Sound management and planning skills; a proven track record in developing and administering a winning overhauling program is a must.

POST TITLE: Assistant Manager-Mobile Crane Maintenance


RESPONSIBILITIES:

This Mobile Crane Maintenance Assistant Manager performs the maintenance and repair of Mobile Cranes, oversees the maintenance and repair of the equipment by staff and vendors.

EDUCATION:

1. Electrical or Mechanical Technician from an accredited institution of higher education with a minimum of ten years experience in maintenance, repair and assembly of preferably Manitowoc/Grove mobile cranes and other heavy equipment,

2. Solid knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems,

3. Strong experience in electronic repairs as well as trouble shooting in mobile cranes,

4. Establishing knowledge of preventive maintenance and repair practices and procedure,

5. Proven background in the supervision and management of a work force of skilled craftsmen in a maintenance environment.

EXPERIENCE:

1. At least ten years in a top level functioning welding/carpentry,

2. Maintenance role within the or Manufacturing environment,

3. Strong  leadership and consensus building skills; a proven track record in developing and winning a track maintenance program is a must.


REMUNERATION & CONDITION OF SERVICE:
