A Reputable Construction/Building Industry Vacancy: Recruitment for Marketing Manager

We are a major player in manufacturing materials for the construction/building industry in Nigeria. Due to the urgent need to expand our market, we are looking for a suitably qualified individual to head our Marketing team. The person must possess the following skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications:

POST TITLE:  Marketing Manager

REQUIREMENTS: 

1. A good honour degree or its equivalent in Architecture, Civil Engineering or Project Management with flair for marketing and a minimum of 6 years relevant experience in the construction/building industry,

2. Membership of the relevant professional body will be an added advantage,
 

3. Ability to provide strategic direction for business promotion planning,
 

4. Proven success in sales ability and demonstrable full knowledge of the sales process,
 

5. Confident negotiator and ability to ‘close the deal,
 

6. Strong client management skills and ability to identify new business opportunities,

7. Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions,
 

8. Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone and presentation,
 

9. Excellent organizational and time management skills,
 

10. A sound understanding of the construction and building industry.
