A Personal Care Products and Plastics firm Job: Recruitment for Systems Engineer /Network Administrator, Systems Officer
THE ORGANIZATION:
A reputable conglomerate with interest in Oil & Gas, Vegetable Oils, Personal Care Products and Plastics requires the services of professinals to fill the positions below:
POST TITLE: Systems Engineer /Network Administrator (Asst Manager- Dep Manager)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Diagnose, detect and resolve a wide range of PC, laptop, printer, peripheral. software faults and carry out upgrades and installs of new peripherals,
2. Give appropriate level of advice to users on compatibility of applications and hardware with existing systems,
3. Install and maintain standard network cabling or equipment and perform diagnostic checks on network equipment,
4. Maintain and troubleshoot hardware and system software on the network and identify failing systems, suggesting solutions as appropriate,
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, QUALITIES & EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an information technology related field,
2. Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCS: Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA); Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA),
3. Minimum of 5 years prior experience.
POSITION: Systems Officer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Carry out any required maintenance of IT Systems,
2. Participate in the daily operations of IT within the Group,
3. Providing one to one training, support and advice to all IT users,
4. Implement backup and virus protection procedures.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, QUALITIES & EXPERIENCE:
1. Candidates must have HND Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an information technology related field,
2. Minimum of 2 years prior experience.
