A World Pharmaceutical and Health Care Company Jobs in Nigeria: Recruitment for Production Shift Manager, Store Keeper, Warehouse Manager

Vacancies now exist for dynamic, hard working, result oriented persons in a World Pharmaceutical and Health Care Company.

POST TITLE:   Production Shift Manager

THE JOB:

To coordinate all related packaging activities high product quality and delivery in a safe and CGMP compliant environment during the day to day running of manufacturing Operations.

REPORT TO:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the job holder will be
  • Responsible for ensuring that discipline is maintained amongst all Line Leads,
  • Responsible for ensuring that their operatives to use SOPs and OMs strictly in the running of the lines,
  • Responsible for management of wastages generated during operations and for quality of products packaged daily,
  • Responsible for the quality of maintenance (daily and weekly care) carried out on the filling equipments
  • Be made to ensure that “right first time” documentation and process is achieved during daily shift operations,
  • Responsible for the closure of Work orders on system with confirmed physical quantities of product sent to warehouse for Lot Accuracy,
  • Responsible for planning, directing and coordination of all wastes reduction activities on lines.
  • Ensure that packaging materials are properly dispensed and reconciled,
  • Chart out daily operational direction for all Line Leads and coordinates same,
  • Ensure the achievement of daily, weekly and monthly planned production targets for shift operations are met,
  • Implement planned preventive maintenance regime in conjunction with the Engineering team. Improve equipment OEE> 65%
  • Plan and implement training schedule for the shift operations team,
  • Implement and sustain manufacturing batch by batch work order closure,
  • Carry out shift wise reconciliation of finished goods with the warehouse store keeper or his designate.
  • Liaises with the production planner to ensure that packaging materials for required for planned production are readily available before operation is commenced,
  • Conduct daily Performance Review for all the lines, generate action log and follow up to a conclusion.

THE CANDIDATES:

The Candidate must possess the followings:
  • Minimum HND in Engineering, Social/Management Science, with minimum of 5 years cognate experience in FMCG,
  • Computer literacy is a must,
  • Higher educational qualification is an added advantage,
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Strong Analytical skills.

POST TITLE:   Store Keeper

THE JOB:
  • Responsible for Receiving, administration, control and manage inventory in the Raw and Packaging materials warehouse by ensuring proper storage and handling of goods, issues to production and dispensary and maintenance of all inventory records generated from above inventory transactions.
  • To input and dispatch all data relating to items purchased and used by the company in areas specified above.
 REPORT TO:

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the role has the responsibility to:
  • Do daily stock transactions reconciliation to achieve targeted stock accuracy,
  • Do proper receipt, issuance and storage of raw and packaging materials in warehouse.
  • Ensure materials on hand matches planned production quantity,
  • Ensures physical Material received, issued and stacked in the warehouse in line with Good warehouse practice
  • Align physical location of materials with systems location with full traceability of materials at 99% accuracy
  • Review near expiry materials, goods in Quarantine and released Location and escalate issues promptly for key decision process by key stakeholders,
  • Ensure system usage and compliance of material receipt with specification and order placed
  • Check safety stock levels weekly and escalate low stock and out of stockm
  • Carry out daily cycle counts,
  • Call for delivery of materials that are low and needs replenishment.

THE CANDIDATES:
 
The ideal candidates must possess the followings:
  • Candidates should have B.Sc or Higher National Diploma holder in purchasing and supply or certificate in storekeeping management /business administration,
  • Member of relevant professional Body.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
  • The ideal candidate must have 3-5 years experience in similar Job level with proven track record in achieve results
  • Must be knowledgeable in Operating systems such as MFG /PRO, JD Edwards etc

POST TITLE:   Warehouse Manager

THE JOB:
 
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the role has the responsibility to:
  • Ensure that all goods are received in desired condition and covered with appropriate GIN and are dispatched to the various departments on time,
  • Ensure materials are stored correctly and thus fit for use to produce quality products at right first time,
  • Maintain efficient stock taking and using transactions that is in compliance with cGMP and warehouse practices such that quality standards are not jeopardized. (FIFO principles and prevent obsolete),
  • Prompt Receipt of Materials with full documentation,
  • Storage of materials in line with GMP,
  • Good warehouse practice and materials segregation,
  • Effective stock take/Cycle count,
  • Issuance and Labeling of Materials,
  • Full deployment and use of all internal IT tools and systems to drive proper generation of data and information for stakeholders decision,
  • Ensure the Tier responsibility process is in place and actions are promptly treated.
  • Ensure and maintain up-to-date records of all raw, packaging and consumables items and products for accomplishment of the overall objectives of Production, distribution and Sales,
  • Provide accurate Inventory data on receipt and issuance to Finance and Procurement and Logistic departments for Management information and decision making,
  • Communicate up-to-date- data on availability of finished products based on Quality release approval for efficient and effective movement of Finished products through the Distribution network,
  • Develop and maintain a liaison strategy with relevant services department e.g. P and L, Production, Quality Supply, Distribution, Finance, HR, etc to ensure uninterrupted flow of materials and support services to warehouse
  • Ensures regular inspection of the warehouse and the environments to ascertain compliance level to EH and S policies/implementation etc as it affects warehousing.
  • Ensure sales of all production scraps to approved scrap buyers at approved rates to create avenue for income generation for the company
  • Ensures and maintain regular training (on-the-job) and deployment of subordinates to comply with warehousing requirement.
THE CANDIDATE:

Ideal candidate must possess:
  • Degree in Business Administration or Its equivalent,
  • Professional Certificate in Inventory management and Warehousing,
  • Membership of relevant professional membership.
EXPERIENCE:
  • 8 years cognate experience in Material Management and Warehousing,
  • Experience in manufacturing company it an added advantage,
  • Computer Literacy is a must.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
  • Ability to use the computer  effectively and efficiently,
  • Performance and result-oriented,
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Effective use of MFG-PRO and Manugistics  reports to manage inventory,
  • Ability to work under pressure/less or no supervision,
  • Strong Analytical skills.
