Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions below in Bauchi State University Gadau.

POST TITLE:   Professor

DEPARTMENT OF RELIGIOUS STUDIES:

• Islamic studies,
• Christian Studies.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Candidates shall possess a PhD degree from a recognized Institution in their  area of specialization
• Must have at least Ten (10) year of post qualification of teaching  and research experience
• Must have a minimum of twenty (20) publications in referred journals
• Show evidence of good  performance in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching research. Ability for academic leadership, community service and administrative duties
• Be  of good character
• Candidates shall demonstrate ability to play a major role in development of academic discipline and ability to initiate and sustain research in the university and
• Must be computer literate.

POST TITLE:   Reader

DEPARTMENT OF RELIGIOUS STUDIES:

• Islamic studies
• Christian Studies.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Candidate shall possess a PhD degree from a recognized institution in their area of specialization,
• Must have a minimum of seven (7) years post qualification teaching and research experience,
• Must have a minimum of fifteen (15) publications in referred journals
• Show evidence of good performance in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching Research. Ability for academic leadership, community service and administrative duties,
• Be of good character,
• Must be computer literate.

POST TITLE:   Senior Lecturer

DEPARTMENT OF RELIGIOUS STUDIES:

• Islamic studies,
• Christian Studies.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Candidate shall possess a PhD degree from a recognized institution in their area of specialization.
• Must have a minimum of four (4) years post qualification teaching and research experience
• Must have a minimum of Ten (10) publications in referred journals.
• Show evidence of good performance in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching Research. 
• Ability for academic leadership, community service and administrative duties Must be computer literate.

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE:

Salaries and personnel emoluments are similar to the monetized Consolidated

Universities Academic Salary Structure (CONUASS) applicable generally in Nigerian Universities.
