THE CLIENT:

Our client, an Indigenous Oil and Gas Company involved in development of an oil field in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria, plans to develop its production facilities consisting of a flow station and gas plant, oil and gas flow lines, pipelines and water disposal system. Consequently, there is an opportunity to grow with a new and dynamic company for professionals required to fill the below vacant positions in the Company

POST TITLE:   Senior Accountant (Ref, 7)

LOCATION:  Lagos State

JOB DUTIES:

• Will handle corpora e accounting, budget and tax aspects of the company and relate with the Joint Venture partners and others on financial    accounting, tax aspects of the JV and report to the Finance Director. Prepare and book monthly cash reports & calls to JV partners- manage statutory audits and ensure maintenance of adequate internal; will serve as JOC secretary.

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATION:

• A degree in Accounting, finance or related discipline plus professional accounting qualification with 8 years work experience (4 years in upstream oil and gas finance & accounting, including JV accounting; Familiarity with IDEAS accounting software would be a major plus.

POST TITLE:   Senior Operations Planner (Ref. F8)

JOB LOCATION:  Akwa Ibom State

JOB DUTIES:

• The Senior  Operations Planner will be responsible for all matters relating to planning daily, monthly and annual hydrocarbon production levels based on contractual obligations and stipulations to maximize Company bottom line and enhance reputation as a reliable producer and supplier of gas and oil to customers and reports to Field Operations Superintendent.

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATION:

• Degree in Engineering or commercial discipline with at least 8 years work experience in the oil & gas industry.

GENERAL QUALIFICATION:

• All candidates must have excellent communications, organisational, well developed leadership, inter-personal problem solving and analytical skills plus knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite software.
