POST TITLE:   Clinical Services Advisor (TB/HIV) 


JOB LOCATION: Abuja


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide Technical Assistance on TB/HIV implementation and monitoring in line with Organization’s model of care,
  • Coordinate linkages between TB/HIV and other service areas,
  • Develop review, harmonize SOP, training curriculum for TB/HIV in line with WHO/National Guidelines,
    Develop innovative quality improvement strategies for TB/HIV program implementation,
  • Conduct operational researches in TB/HIV,
  • Periodic review of TB/HIV tools in collaboration with Monitoring & Evaluation Team,
  • Support and assist Partners in other areas of TB/HIV program implementation,
  • Innovative strategies for implementation of TB/HIV program protocols.
JOB MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Advanced Degree in Medicine or Public Health (MBBS preferred),
  • Significant clinical experience in HIV/AIDS care and antiretroviral treatment,
  • Experience in managing TB patients and programming especially TB/HIV integration (3years + preferable),
  • Excellent grasp of clinical issues and current literature in TB and HIV/AIDS programming,
  • Experience in developing country health care programs,
  • Experience with facilitating trainings using participatory methodologies,
  • Excellent interpersonal skills,
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

POST TITLE:   Clinical Services Officer (Pediatrics)

JOB LOCATION: ABUJA 


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide Technical Assistance to Pediatric services implementation,
  • Coordinate Linkages between Pediatrics and other service areas,
  • Provide Technical Assistance to partners,
  • for the expanded programs for the care and treatment of HIV/AIDS and associated morbidities such as TB, in infants, children, and teenagers,
  • Provide Technical Assistance to partners in site assessments of treatment facilities to assess, initiate, and enhance pediatric care and treatment services,
  • Provide assistance in the development of linkages with PMTCT programs to ensure follow-up of HIV-exposed infants,
  • Support early infant diagnostic testing initiatives at partners1 supported sites,
  • coordinate technical support with other clinical service officers and related technical program units,
JOB MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Advanced Medical Degree,
  • Minimum of 5 years robust clinical experience in HIV/AIDS care and antiretroviral treatment,
  • At least 3 years experience in managing Pediatric patients and country health care program development,
  • Excellent grasp of clinical issues and current literature in Pediatrics, HIV/AIDS,
  • Experience in training and facilitation,
  • Excellent interpersonal skills,
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

POST TITLE:   Clinical Services Officer (PMTCT)

 
JOB LOCATION: (3 positions) Cross River, Benue and Akwa Ibom States

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The Clinical Services Officer will provide technical support for multidisciplinary HIV/AIDS care and treatment, working with health facility based site teams to provide PMTCT services to pregnant and post partum HIV positive women and their babies,
  • Planning, implementing and monitoring PMTCT activities at sites in designated states,
  • Overseeing the PMTCT clinics at sites in designated states by providing on-going mentoring and hands-on supervision,
  • Provide technical assistance to medical practitioners to ensure quality service delivery to patients as part of site multidisciplinary team,
  • Building site personnel capacity through training,
  • Developing/strengthening plans for enrolling more pregnant HJV+ women in the communities into PMTCT clinics,
  • Supervising data collection for monitoring and evaluation use,
  • Integrating HIV/AIDS care and treatment into other Maternal and Child Health activities.
JOB MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Advanced degree in Nursing/Midwifery, Medicine, or Public health,
  • Substantial clinical experience in HIV/AIDS care and treatment,
  • 5 years experience in providing PMTCT services and or comprehensive Reproductive Health services,
  • Excellent grasp of clinical issues and current literature in HIV/AIDS and PMTCT,
  • Experience in training and facilitation,
  • Excellent interpersonal skills,
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

POST TITLE:   Senior Laboratory Services Associate  


JOB LOCATION: Benue

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The incumbent would provide technical support in the delivery of high quality laboratory services to health facility based sites,
  • Assist in planning and coordination of laboratory activities at sites in designated states,
  • Developing laboratory capacity at designated sites through on-going monitoring and hands-on supervision,
  • Training site laboratory staff on use of Standard Operating Procedures, job aids, log books, referral forms, etc,
  • Ensuring the monitoring of efficient documentation of laboratory results at designated sites,
  • Preparing periodic progress reports on laboratory services at designated sites,
  • Maintain inventory of Lab store,
  • Implanting and monitoring quality management/quality assurance activities.
JOB MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science,
  • Valid Certificate to practice as Medical Laboratory Scientist is Mandatory,
  • 4 years experience in a practical setting,
  • Knowledge and experience in design, implementation and management of laboratory services in HIV/AIDS program asset,
  • Medium-Level computer skills in MS Excel, Access and Office,
  • Excellent interpersonal Skills.

POST TITLE:   Accountant 


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Processing of payments,
  • Posting of vouchers into an approved accounting software,
  • Reviewing budgets for related activities such as training/travels,
  • Performing capacity building for partners’ accountants on donor/USG financial rules and regulations
  • Engaging in site visit to field office as a way to ascertain compliance of Partners to financial rules and regulations,
  • Preparation of payroll, calculation and computation at the end of every month for the team,
  • Providing technical assistance on grant management to Partners.
JOB MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelors’ degree or higher in Accounting or related field,
  • At least 3 years’ experience in an Accounting/ Finance position in NGO setting,
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills,
  • Self-driven individual with a high sense of quality, efficiency and respect for deadlines,
  • Strong practical sense and ability to handle multiple tasks and to set priorities,
  • Precise and attentive to details,
  • Enjoys working with numbers,
  • Strong computer skills, including Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel,
  • Fluency in oral and written English.

POST TITLE:   Training / Capacity Building Officer

JOB LOCATION: Abuja


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The position holder will provide programmatic support for implementation of training activities on HIV/AIDS Care and treatment,
  • S/he will travel approximately 20% of the time to the program’s target regions to monitor progress and provide technical assistance,
  • Assist the Associate Director, Capacity Building in the coordination, development and updating of nationally approved clinical training curricula and programs, with a focus on training approaches,
  • Collect and maintain training data for Strategic Information reporting and for Monitoring and Evaluation purposes,
  • Working closely with the Program Implementation Team to ensure successful completion of training activities,
  • Ensure the maintenance of adequate stock of training materials and supplies at all times,
  • Coordination of activities for meetings, training events, and other activities such as arranging for training sites, transportation, meals and overall training logistics.
JOB MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Sciences or related field,
  • At least 5 years working experience in HIV/AIDS training or related area, 3 years of which must have been in the coordinating of logistics and other administrative tasks,
  • Familiarity with training approaches and knowledge of the health care delivery system preferred,
  • Experience and knowledge in public sector,
  • Excellent written and oral English skills,
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.

POST TITLE:   Monitoring and Evaluation (M and E) Associate 

 
JOB LOCATION: (3 positions) Abuja, Kogi and Akwa Ibom

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The M and E Associate will assist the M and E Advisor in providing technical support to Partner’s Data Quality Validation activities,
  • Support the Advisor to improve data collation and collection processes,
  • Participate in Partners DQA exercise,
  • Conducting routine data Quality checks with partner and all data sources,
  • Collecting, collating and reporting all data tracked by the program,
  • Support partners to verify and edit data to ensure compatibility with data entry system and procedural requirements,
  • Support Partners to ensure data is accurate, consistent and timely according to prescribed format.
JOB MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Degree in Medical records, Statistics or any discipline in the social sciences,
  • Minimum of 1 year working experience in the implementation and management of health M and E systems (HIV/AIDS programming preferred),
  • Familiarity with National M and E reporting framework,
  • High-level computer skills using MS Excel, MS Access, SPSS and/or SAS and Epi-info Windows,
  • Basic data management and analysis skills,
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records systems and deployment of database system for patient monitoring will be an asset,
  • Excellent interpersonal skills,
  • Fluency interpersonal skills,
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

POST TITLE:   Program Assistant 


JOB LOCATION: Abuja

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assists in the management and development of an AIDS care and treatment program
  • Provides technical support to partners and all supported sites
  • Assisting in planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the program activities.
JOB MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A Bachelor degree in social or medical sciences,
  • Advanced degree will be an added advantage,
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills especially report writing,
  • Experience in health programs management and reporting.

POST TITLE:   Accounts Associate


JOB LOCATION: (2 positions) Abuja and Kaduna

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assists in establishing and managing the office financial systems,
  • Assist in implementing accounting and financial policies to ensure financial integrity of the program,
  • Assists in preparing accurate and timely monthly reports and financial statements,
  • Cash flow forecasting and management,
  • Ensure that the office operates at all times in accordance with donor and organizational finance rules and regulations.
JOB MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in accounting and a minimum of 2+ years relevant experience in an accounting role preferably in International NGO setting,
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision,
  • Fluency in oral and written English,
  • Remuneration is competitive and will be based on qualifications and experience.

POST TITLE:   Transport / Logistics Assistant (Driver)  


JOB LOCATION: Abuja

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drives office vehicles and transport office staff, other authorized personnel for performing official duties,
  • Logs official trips, daily mileage, gas consumption, oil changes, greasing, etc.,
  • Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned office vehicle,
  • Performs minor repairs and arranges for other repairs,
  • Ensures that the office vehicle is kept clean,
  • Takes suitable precautions for the security of the office vehicle and its contents when left unattended,
  • Ensures that the office vehicle is properly kept (in the garage or on the secured cark park) during non-working hours.
JOB MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: Equivalent to secondary education,
  • Valid Driver’s license,
  • Some knowledge and experience of application of PC software technologies,
  • At least four years’ work experience as a driver; safe driving record,
  • Experience in driving various makes and models of cars an asset,
  • Ability to read and understand the English language especially the essential meaning of a wide variety of written material including Program guidelines, manuals and instructions,
  • To be able to prepare internal notes and complete necessary forms,
  • To communicate with official visitors to the country.

  • All positions require candidates that are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of computer applications and Internet/Emails,
  • All positions require significant amounts of travel to our partner program sites.
