POST TITLE:   Researcher

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• The candidate must possess a B. A (Hons) or B.Sc degree in any of the social sciences with demonstrable experience of not less than 5 years. Higher qualification will be an added advantage.

JOB DUTIES:

• Carries out research on the economy and social issues that impact on workers in the union,
• Carries out commissioned research on economic and social themes that impact on workers in the industry such as wages trend, employment, inflation etc,
• Analyses Federal budgets in the context of their impact on workers and Trade unions,
• Serves as the Union’s data base, primary and secondary, for the union’s reference etc.

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE:

The conditions of service shall not be less favourable than those in the Federal Service and point of entry shall be dependent on qualification and experience.
