We have just launched the commercial services of Glo 1 submarine cable. It’s the only direct undersea cable from London to Lagos, and 13 other African countries, with a dedicated link to America. All connecting seamlessly into Glo’s 10,000 kilometres of fibre-optic backbone throughout Nigeria. In fact, Glo 1 has created the only completely end to end communications network in the region.
With Points of Presence (POP) in the UK, Hong Kong, USA and Virtual POPs in France and Germany, Glo Gateway services manage roaming connections, voice and data traffic both in the local and international markets.
The company needs capable professionals who can fill various positions in Glo 1. The positions attract internationally competitive remuneration.
POST TITLE: Head, Solutions & Support

EDUCATIONS::

EXPERIENCE:
1. 10- 14 years experience with the last five years at a senior level in a leading telecoms/ISP company,
2. Strong relevant technical competencies in data services solutions at front line and supervisory levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage and guide the solutions & support team towards its objective of providing technical support to the sales team during the sales process in terms of understanding and identifying the client’s network and requirements to be addressed Evolve best practices for delivery of business

3. Contribute towards commercial pricing of new solutions/ services to be adopted,
POST TITLE: Technical Support Executive/Manager

1. 3-8 years data solution building and high level experience in techno commercial proposals and designing connectivity solutions for customers,
2. Additional certifications from Cisco/Nortel/Avaya and Microsoft will be a key advantage.
1. Design network connectivity solutions in consultation with Customer, G!o1 network team and suppliers,
2. Provide technical and commercial support on sales calls,
3. Assist sales team in preparing techno-commercial proposals including schematics and network diagrams, as required.
POST TITLE: Program Coordinator

EDUCATIONS:
1. Relevant university degree are required
2. A degree in Economics, Marketing or Business related discipline is preferred.
3. Relevant post graduate or professional qualification will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE:
1. 7-10 years experience in Program Management in a leading telecoms/ISP company,
2. Additional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) certification and/or certifications from Certifications from Cisco/Nortel/Avaya and Microsoft will be a key advantage.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Program management of end to end connectivity and commissioning of customer order to service acceptance for Glo 1 services,
3. Create and share escalation matrix with the customer and initiate dashboards during project stage for internal escalations,
4. Generate systems, processes and policies for Program Management.
