Our Client, a reputable organization and major player in the Building, Engineering and Construction sector of the Nigerian Economy is currently expanding and requires competent, self motivated and experienced personnel for immediate engagement.


POST TITLE:  , (Nigerian/Expatriate)


LOCATION: (001)


PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Day-to-day activities planning as per work order, job allocation for the team, supervision of activities and feedback for work order,

2. Co-ordination of and his team members for normal operation,

3. Job supervision and Ensure completion of job with safety, quality of workmanship and within the stipulated project timeline,

4. Ensure safety instructions are followed by team at construction sites,

5. Providing leadership and technical expertise on construction and its related activities,

6. Scheduling of shift and coordinating of daily shift planning in the construction team and between departments,

7. Liaise with other departments and sections for smooth functioning of projects.

SKILLS & COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must be computer literate with excellent knowledge in the usage and application of engineering software- Auto CAD, Civil 3D, Auto Desk certification etc,

2. Must have first hand expertise knowledge of the construction industry,

3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and team building skills with the ability to persuade and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders,

4. Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills with proven ability in the preparation of meaningful and accurate forecasts and budgets,


PROFESSIONAL & ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS:

1. A good B. Eng, B, Tech degree/HND in Civil, Building Engineering, or other relevant technical discipline from a reputable institution. Degree is an advantage,

2. Membership of COREN or any other relevant professional certificate,

3. Well established industry experience of not less than 20 years, 10 of which must have been at a senior management post in the construction industry.

LOCATION: (002)


PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Ensure efficient and adequate running of all construction equipment

2. Fast response to breakdown of equipment to minimize time loss

3. Observation of non-normal behavior of equipment and offer/suggest corrective measures

4. Carry out predictive and preventive maintenance and ensure availability of equipment

5. Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures, no accident and zero fatality

6. Coordinate with other departments/sections for smooth operation

7. Proper handling of equipment, spare parts, assemblies and repair actions
    SKILLS & COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    1. Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving ability as well as excellent track record in technical and innovative, creative management and leadership at a management level

    2. Success in the delivery of operational and technical efficiencies resulting in the improvements to service delivery

    PROFESSIONAL & ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS:

    1. Good degree/ HND in Mechanical Engineering, or other related field from a reputable institution

    2. A post graduate degree will be an added advantage, preferably

    3. Membership of Chartered Institute of Engineers, COREN, or other relevant professional bodies.

    4. Well established technical and management experience or not less than 15 years, 8 of which must be at a management position

    PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Establish Project Management policies and guidelines and drive the company projects,

    2. Makes PM strategic inputs and contribution to bids, tenders, Pre-qualification and RFPs preparations,

    3. Plan and schedule the company’s project timelines and milestones,

    4. Develop and deliver on a timely basis progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentation,

    5. Ensure that project expectations are set and continually managed with team members and other stakeholders,

    6. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

    SKILLS & COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    1. Good first degree /HND in Engineering, quantity surveying or other relevant discipline with a minimum of 10 years post graduate experience in the construction industry,

    2. Membership of relevant professional PM certificates, e.g PMP, PRINCE 2 etc will be an advantage,

    3. Strong familiarity with PM software,

    4. Good report writing and bid/proposal preparation and supervisory skills,

    5. Ability to work with a project team and stakeholders.
