THE ORGANIZATION:

We are a Leading and Reputable Non-Governmental Organization implementing a comprehensive family-focused HIV/ AIDS prevention, care and treatment program in partnership with different tiers of the Government of Nigeria- national, state, local and site levels. In line with the broadened scope and objectives of our work, the need for increased staff capacity around new and enlarged areas of focus have emerged. We therefore require the services of resourceful, experienced and dynamic professionals to fill the positions below:

POST TITLE:   Monitoring and Evaluation Associate (M&E) Associates (4)

LOCATION: Kaduna, Kogi, Akwa Ibom, Cross River State

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • The M and E Associate will assist the State M and E Officer in providing technical support in the planning, implementation and review of M and E activities at supported health facilities? Development and refinement of M and E materials
  • Providing support in the development and establishment of a systematic procedure for Monthly patient monitoring and programmatic progress ? conducting routine data quality checks in all supported sites
  • Collecting, collating and reporting all data tracked by the program
  • Support Data Clerks to verify and edit data to ensure compatibility with data entry system and procedural requirements
  • Mentor facility staff to ensure that the data entered into hospital database are accurate, consistent and according to prescribed format.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
  • Degree in Medical records, Statistics or any discipline in the social sciences
  • 1 year working experience in the implementation and management of health M and E systems (HIV/AIDS programming preferred)
  • High- level computer skills using MS Excel, MS Access, SPSS and/or SAS and Epi-info Windows
  • Basic data management and analysis skills
  • Knowledge of electronic median records systems and deployment of database systems for patient monitoring an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills Fluency in written and spoken English.

POST TITLE:   Executive Program Assistant

LOCATION: Abuja
  • The Executive Program Assistant will provide general management and administrative assistance to the Country Director’s office
  • Organize and facilitate meetings both within and outside the office including secretarial and front office services to the Country Director’s Office
  • Maintain an organization-wide calendar of key events Schedule travel for Executive Management and other staff (Hotel and flight reservations)
  • Order office supplies from store and ensure a smooth the operation of the Country Director’s office
  • Arrange for logistics support for meetings, trainings and workshops in  the office
  • Follow up on matters with the donors especially USG-CDC, Ministry of Health, Organizations Partners as required, and report accordingly to the Country Director
  • Review of daily newspapers and reporting on program related activities, health and development stories relating to organization and its related states, other partners, GON at all levels etc to share with Leadership.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
  • Interested candidates must have a minimum of a first Degree in a Social Sciences field
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a secretarial capacity or a personal Assistant role in a corporate organization
  • Experience working in collaboration with local Governmental partners U.S. Government or bilateral donors preferred
  • Strong management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skill
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Must be capable of independently developing and implementing the duties described above.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Self motivating

POST TITLE:   Program Assistants (2 positions)

LOCATION: Kaduna and Benue

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assisting in the management and development of an AIDS care and treatment program,
  • Providing technical support to the state offices and all supported sites,
  • Assisting in planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the program.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor degree in social or medical sciences,
  • Advanced degree is an advantage,
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience in health programs management.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Candidates that is proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of computer applications and Internet/ Emails, 
  • Significant amounts of travel are required for this position,
  • Commitment to and understanding of organization’s vision, values and principles including rights-based / gender approaches would be an added advantage.

The organization offers highly competitive salary packages for all positions in the organization, However, employment contracts for each of these positions will be tied to the duration of the grant supporting the position and will also be subject to a probationary period. Local terms and conditions are applicable.
