FITC Latest Jobs in Nigeria Recruitment for 7 Job Positions

THE CLIENT:

Our Client, a regulator in the finance services sector of Nigeria is seeking to recruit candidates into some strategic vacancies in some functional areas as listed below. These roles are generally expected to have functional strategy initiation and implementation responsibilities, as well as coaching, and mentoring of respective functional teams. Additional details in terms of roles, academic, technical and behavioural requirements are shown below:

POST TITLE:   Director, Off Site Supervision

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in any of the following disciplines Economics, Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science,
  • He/She must possess relevant professional qualification e.g, ACA, CITN, CAN, CIN, ACCA,
  • In addition, candidates must have a minimum of twenty (20) years cognate experience with at least 5 years in senior management position in the financial services sector,
  • Experience as a thought-leader as demonstrated through distinguished services in relevant associations, committees, etc.,
  • Relevant industry experience is a must, along with knowledge of outstanding global and local practices.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

TECHNICAL:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the supervision through the team with respect to any regulatory tools used in dealing with issues of non-compliance, and conducting meetings held with company officials to obtain information to facilitate this,
  • Candidates should have exceptional analytical and communication skills (both written and oral) and highly developed team leadership and mentoring skills,
  • The post holder will be accountable for contributing to the development and implementation of new or revised policy and /or legislative initiatives,
  • This role involves establishing strong relationships with the most senior levels of management within the organization, the sector’s operators and other regulators as well as working directly with the Chief Executive Officer.
BEHAVIOURAL:
  • This candidate must be focused on raising the quality and standards of all tasks undertaken,
  • He/She must be able to draw conclusions by probing problems, issues and contemplate the consequences,
  • The ideal candidate must have an innate need to get things right,
  • He/She must be thorough, disciplined and must be detail oriented.

POST TITLE:   Director, Authorization and Policy

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in any of the following disciplines: Finance, Policy and strategy, Accounting, Actuarial Science,
  • Relevant professional qualifications is essential,
  • Minimum of 20 years relevant post graduate experience of which at least five years should be at a senior level in the financial services sector,
  • Experience as a thought-leader as demonstrated through associations, committees, etc.
  • Relevant industry experience is a must, along with knowledge of international.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

TECHNICAL:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing criteria for authorization of member organizations,
  • He/She will oversee the development of appropriate policies that will serve as the bedrock for the organization,
  • He/She will oversee the development of procedures to support the developed policies and ensure enforcement of such policies,
  • He/She must possess exceptional analytical and communication skills (both written and oral) and highly developed team leadership and mentoring skills.
BEHAVIOURAL:
  • The ideal candidate must be able to maintain quality and pay significant attention to detail,
  • He/She must be alert to changing situations and must be adaptable in difficult circumstances.

POST TITLE:   Assistant Director-Human Resources

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Candidates must possess a master’s degree in any of the Social Science or Humanities, preferably in Public/Business Administration with specialization in Human Resource Management, in addition to a good first degree which is not lower than second class lower division in a relevant discipline,
  • Have a minimum of fifteen (15) years cognate experience,
  • Preference will be given to candidates with previous management experience in the use of Microsoft office application,
  • Have proficiency in the use of Microsoft office application,
  • Professional Membership of CIPMN or other related professional associations is a must.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

TECHNICAL:
  • Candidate must be able to provide a pragmatic support system for managing the careers of technical /professional and clerical staff within the organization,
  • Develop and implement relevant HR policies and procedures, interprets and administers HR –related provisions of collective bargaining agreement,
  • He/She must be demonstrate Knowledge and competencies to drive the HR function and value chain in collaboration with other team members.
BEHAVIOURAL:
  • The candidate must develop a culture of participation and involvement, including maintaining confidence in the face of unpopular situations,
  • People who are best suited for this job must be result oriented and skilled in conflict resolution,
  • The ideal person for this position will be self-confident, friendly, self-starting, imaginative, factual, consistent, self-disciplined and active,
  • An added advantage is positive attitude and social disposition, while a multi-tasking ability is highly required.

POST TITLE:   Director, Inspectorate

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in finance or the social Science,
  • Candidate must also possess relevant professional qualifications with recognized local and/or international professional bodies,
  • Minimum of 20 years relevant post graduate experience of which at least five years should be at a senior level in the financial services business, and/or working experience with a financial organization,
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills (both written oral) and highly developed team leadership and mentoring skills,
  • Experience as a thought-leader as demonstrated through associations, committees, etc.,
  • Relevant industry experience is a must, along with knowledge of outstanding global and local practices.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

TECHNICAL:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the inspection of operators with respect to compliance requirements,
  • The post holder will be accountable for contributing to the development and implementation of inspection guidelines in line with international standards,
  • This role involves establishing strong relationships with the most senior levels of management within the organization, the sector’s operators and other regulators as well as working directly with the Chief Executive Officer.
BEHAVIOURAL:
  • The ideal candidate must be systematic and factual, and adopt a logical and intelligent approach in dealing with issues,
  • He/She must be diplomatic while maintaining a high standard of compliance,
  • He/She must be able to establish, adhere to and enforce regulations, and procedures.

POST TITLE:   Assistant Director, Legal

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Candidates must possess LLB and BL,
  • An LLM or MBA will be an added advantage,
  • Candidate must have fifteen (15) years working experience, five of which should be in senior management position in a reputable organization.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

TECHNICAL:
  • The successful candidate must have expertise in legislation and judicial systems,
  • He/She will manage inquiries and disciplinary procedures,
  • Candidates should also have relevant experience working with the board of an organization (e.g. as a Company Secretary),
  • The successful candidate will also manage relationships with Stakeholders.
BEHAVIOURAL:
  • The ideal candidate must subscribe to strict standards of quality and accuracy,
  • He/She must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of dealing with colleagues with diplomacy while ensuring rule and regulations are strictly adhered to,
  • The ideal person should possess functional interpersonal networks across a range of industries.

POST TITLE:   Director, Administration and Human Resources

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Masters Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Public Administration or equivalent from a recognized University,
  • Candidate must also have a minimum of twenty (20) years cognate experience with at least 5 years in senior management position,
  • Management consulting experience will be a plus,
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office application,
  • Must be a member of relevant local and international Human Resources and Human Capacity development professional institutions.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

TECHNICAL:
  • The successful candidate will originate and lead Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment and ongoing development of a superior workforce,
  • In addition, 
  • He/She will coordinate implementation of administrative services, policies, and programmes through own departmental and other staff.
BEHAVIOURAL:
  • The ideal candidate must be able to deal with conflicts in an accommodating manner and provide leadership and motivation to subordinates,
  • He/She must be innovative in introducing monitoring systems that identify and promote productivity of the workforce,
  • The ideal candidates must be calm and self-controlled under any circumstance,
  • He/She must readily enforce systems and procedures.

POST TITLE:   Director- Finance

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Candidate must possess degree in Economics, Banking and Finance, Accounting, not lower than second class lower division in a relevant discipline,
  • He or she must be a qualified accountant,
  • In addition, candidate must have a minimum of twenty (20) years cognate experience with at least 5 years in senior management position preferably in the financial services sector,
  • Have proficiency in the use of Microsoft office application and relevant financial packages.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

TECHNICAL:
  • The successful candidates will improve the organisation’s accounting and financial management systems,
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports, direct investment activities, and implement cash management processes,
  • Develop strategies and implement long term goals for the organization,
  • Direct organizational budget to meet its financial goals.
BEHAVIOURAL:
  • This job role requires the ability to fulfill work projects with honesty and integrity,
  • Applicant must be innovative and disciplined in identifying and solving finance related problems, and communicating findings for implementation,
  • The individual fulfilling this function should be thorough, methodical, careful and conventional in nature,
  • He or she must be calm and have long term planning capabilities.
