VACANCY DESCRIPTION:
 

Oando Marketing is currently seeking a Lubes Sales Engineer to executing plans to meet the sales and marketing target of Oando for Commercial and Retail Lubes through effective marketing strategies. The lubricant Sales Engineer under the Branch structure covers a minimum of 3 branches spanning over a minimum of 3 states of the country.  The Lubes Sales Engineer is also responsible for building, maintaining and sustaining good and lasting Customer relationship with our entire Commercial and Retail Customers by ensuring excellent service delivery.

NOTE: All candidates with less than 3 years post NYSC will be required to pass an aptitude test before they can be considered for interview)

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintain, meet and exceed current Commercial/Retail lubes Customer’s requirement
2. Recruit new Commercial Customers and sign up new distributors/independent Outlets while ensuring old Customers are retained
3. Maintain minimum stock of lubes at warehouses under them and subsequently in Retail Outlets being covered.
4. Train Branch Managers, Lubes sales force (including attendants/ dealers/ distributors) and organize lubes seminars/clinics/surveys for Commercial users
5. Research, monitor market trends, competitors’ activities and consumer preferences
6. Develop strategies and plan for the promotion and sales of Lubes
7. Plan, direct and coordinate Customer service strategies and manage customer relationships.
8. Carries out sales of Lubricants to Commercial and Retail channels
9. Give logistics support to the Customer Care Unit through product Stock management in warehouses
10. Carry out programmed survey to ascertain Customers preferences/suggestions and feedbacks
11. Manage Lubes warehouses
12. Identify strategic locations, deploy and drive Kiosk sales of lubes through Retail Off-forecourt channels
13. Identify, engage and drive viable Independent Outlets in coverage area
14. Monitor and push Retail bulk oil sales at Outlets and other locations
15. Develop and implement lubes initiatives/ strategies that will maximize volume and margin contribution to the overall lubes department objective
16. Ensures that all lubricant spot buyers across branches being covered are captured
17. Reviews and prepare performance and monitoring reports
18. Supervises all activities in the lubricant warehouses
19. Supervises all BMs within coverage area on all lubricant sales and activities
20. Supports the LM in planning/budgeting decisions
21. Liaises with KLP/LM to bring initiatives (product) into the market to satisfy customers and edge out competition.

POST TITLE: Offshore Construction Site Representative

The responsibilities of Construction Site Representative Position include but are not limited to the followings:




1. Carry out all construction and fabrication supervision / monitoring activities required for the successful delivery of the Contracts assigned.
2. Comply with Company procedures and reporting requirements.
3. Implement Company HSE policies and Contract HSE requirement.
4. Participate in Job Hazard Analyses and Attend safety toolbox meetings on a regular basis with contractors’ work teams.
5. Assist in construct-ability reviews and the planning and scheduling of construction jobs.

14. Ensure Contractors have viable schedules for their work, recognizing interfaces with other ongoing COMPANY activities.
15. Ensure that contractors maintain adequate records for all inspection and testing carried out.
16. Participate, with contractors’ staff and COMPANY Operations staff, in all pre- commissioning activities.
17. Control COMPANY supplied material issues to contractors, ensuring that any surplus is accounted for.
18. Maintain adequate records relating to events surrounding the work, which may give rise to contractors claiming for a cost increase against contract. 
19. Contribute to project close out reports as applicable

REQUIREMENTS: 

The Offshore Construction Site Representative must possess the following requirements:

1. Construction Site Representative will have extensive experience in offshore facilities construction work and offshore installation of platforms and pipeline laying as well as working on facilities expansions where simultaneous production and construction operations is required.
2. A good understanding of the relevant codes and standards for welding work and testing requirements for same is a prerequisite.
3. A reasonable understanding of E I construction and testing works.
4. Fluent spoken and written English.
5. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, for dealing with a broad spectrum of cultural and organisational styles, as well as being able to fit in as a team player.
6. Fit and fully mobile, so as to maintain the supervision at the various locations where activities related to the work will be carried out.
7. A self starter, able to plan and work his own way forwards at locations remote from COMPANY project engineering and engineering management staff.
8. Proven experience of supervising and coordinating the activities of a team of a multi-discipline construction supervision team.

POST TITLE:   Pipeline Engineer

The Pipeline Engineer will responsible for the followings:

1. The responsibilities of Senior Pipeline Engineer position include but are not limited to the following:
2. To act as a focal point/technical authority for pipeline engineering questions throughout the engineering design, construction and installation phases of Company’s pipeline projects, most of which are offshore.
3. To provide pipeline engineering input to other disciplines to assure that design outputs are consistent.

REQUIREMENTS: 

The Pipeline Engineer must possess the followings:

1. Minimum twenty (20) years relevant experience with an oil industry design and fabrication contractor.
2. Must have worked as a pipeline engineer/senior pipeline engineer for an Operator, and have been involved in both onshore and offshore projects.
3. Must be used to working in a multi-discipline environment
4. Must have worked in an expatriate situation for at least five (5) years.

Oando Marketing is currently seeking a Technical Procurement Officer (Contract Role) is responsible for supports transaction planning and processing efforts to ensure all technical procurement activities are delivered in the most cost effective manner without compromising on quality and EHSQ standards, while meeting customer expectations for efficient and effective service delivery

(NOTE: All candidates with less than 3 years post NYSC will be required to pass an aptitude test before they can be considered for interview)

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
1. Executes procurement plans to support business and operational needs based on requirements stated in the business plans and budgets of individual entities and departments.
 
2. Makes useful recommendations for cost savings for more efficient and effective procurement and service delivery.
 
3. Ensures the needs of requestors are proactively identified and met; takes appropriate actions by handling request orders, supporting tendering/bid management processes, contract negotiation, price management, service delivery, vendor management and communication efforts with suppliers.
 
4. Supports procurement contract negotiation efforts as may be required from time to time; with supervision, negotiates favourable basic vendor agreements.
 
5. Works to effectively remove any obstacles to ensure optimal delivery of services to the highest standards thereby achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
 
6. Interprets contract provisions in processing procurement transactions.
 
7. Prepares commercial evaluation/bid evaluation, and makes recommendation for bid selection, liaises with customers and prepares recommendation report; submits these for review and sign-off and approval by the Procurement and customer’s management.
 
8. Organizes technical evaluation of bids and ensures Purchase Orders comply with appropriate specifications, conditions and clauses.
 
9. Issues Purchase Orders for approval in line with process guidelines and specified approval limits.
Work closely with suppliers and customers to improve operations and reduce costs
 
10. Create integrated processes among Operations, Procurement, Logistics and outside suppliers to execute the planning/replenishment process
 
11. Carries out vendors’ performance appraisal with support.
 
12. Maintains adequate vendor documentation and/or specification on sources of supply, costs, delivery, vendor performance ratings, and quality requirements
 
13. Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. 1st degree from a reputable tertiary institution, in engineering,
 
2. 2 – 5 years work experience, within a reputable and structured organization preferably an Oil and Gas multinational with maintenance and project management experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

1. Review and approve HSE NOPL Contractor policy, plans and management systems
 
2. Ensure that HSE aspects and EIA requirements are properly addressed and considered in Contractors’ procedures
 
3. Ensure that the Job Safety Analysis is properly carried out for all the activities
 
4. Organize and manage Safety inspectors’ tasks on site.

10. Ensure that Contractor’s construction equipment is fit for purpose and meet HSE standards.
 
11. Ensure that Contractor’s lifting equipment is certified and managed through a colour coding system.
 
12. Implement changes in regulations, standards, and Company rules.
 
13. Monitor and record HSE activities of the project, and assist Package manager in presentations and preparation of report.
 
14. Collect and report HSE statistics.
 
15. Analyse incidents, perform investigations, organise feedback to management and personnel.
 
16.Verify and control Permit to Work SIMOPS systems where interfacing operations take place.

17.Assist Operations in preparation of commissioning and start-up procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
 
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

1. 10 years experience as HSE coordinator in Oil Gas onshore facilities installation,
 
2. Onshore pipeline projects MANDATORY,
 
3. Conversant with SIMOPS Permit To Work management systems,
 
4. Experience of Hot-Tap HSE monitoring as a plus,
 
5. Fluent in English language,
 
6. Leadership experience.
