POST TITLE: MS Operations Manager
DEPARTMENT: Managed Services Department
WORK LOCATION: West Africa Region (Mention as per the location requirement)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coordinate and Manage Service Management Processes improvement including Help Desk Management and coordination,
2. Manage the governance process to support client SLA performance reporting requirements,
3. SLA management to KPIS,
4. Assisting the PMO team, managing and coordinating the day-to-day operation of Managed Services delivery of the projects,
5. Support Change management and New Service sand New Products Development Performing project portfolio management activities and resolving critical issues,
6. Supporting the E2E project delivery process. Building and promoting delivery management platform to enable effective monitoring and management of Project Delivery including customer meeting, reporting etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor’s Degree or Above in telecommunication raid or equivalent,
2. Minimum of 8 years of telecom industry experience including experience for Managed Service Management Processes including Help Desk Management and coordination,
3. SLA management to KPIS,
4. Support Experience in Managing BSS/IT Operations of Telecom Operators including improving operations consistently to meet the KPI’s SLA agreed, processes and policies in support of customer organization mission, support better management reporting,
5. Excellent people management experience with good track records. Candidates possess knowledge of PMP or equivalent, eTOM, ITIL or TL 9000,
6. Energetic and logical thinking; be able to travel occasionally and work overseas,
7. Mature and positive attitudes; possess good interpersonal communication skills, able to work well in a fast-paced multi-culture dynamic environment,
8. Excellent written, oral and listening skills in English.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
1. Experience in a Telecom Engineering Company, Telecoms Vendor or ICT is preferred and is of top-priority,
2. Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Computer Science or telecommunications Engineering or relevant Degree as applicable,
3. Good Customer service orientation, communication skills, good team spirit and has ability to work independently,
4. Should be ready to work under pressure in all kind of working condition,
5. Proficient in Microsoft office, (word, excel and PowerPoint),
6. Applicants should be open to learning new skills and technology,
7. Self-motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and fluent in English both oral and written,
8. Must be ready for international project to the other African countries,
9. Successful applicants should be Goal-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills, and be a very good team player,
10. The successful applicant should be good at information gathering and analysis.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Operator VAS (Service Delivery Platform, SMS/MMS.), BSS (Business Support System, Telecom Billing. CRM, Business intelligence. Mediation, Revenue Assurance), eTOM (enhance telecommunication operation map), Telecom Operator’s Call Canter.
